Things I just learned:

• Roommates can be very helpful, even on subjects they don't really know about
• Coat hangers are quite tough, and require wire cutters to cut properly
• Coat hanger metal is rather strong, and very good at stabilizing something
• Poking Styrofoam with a metal wire is harder than it looks
• A three hole punch is a lot like a hammer that spews dots of paper all over your room
• Tape conceals everything
• Coat hangers without the cross bar part do not in fact work as coat hangers anymore
• If you begin to take off your pants to change, but then sit down to write something on your computer, a bypassing roommate may get the wrong idea as to what you're doing
• Stalling on working on a lab to try on your anime costume is totally worth it
