Ah well, whatever, it's just one more day. So today after work I'm gonna go pick it up.
I can say right now with 100% certainty that I am going to write an article on it. It's probably going to be a mix between review, personal discovery, and political/industry implications. lol. Whatever the case, I am definitely going to write about this game.
But not until I play it a bunch. Don't expect me to be on chat tonight, or tomorrow (though I may beat it by tomorrow, it's apparently a very short game), lol!
Anyways...
Almost finished Gurren Lagann. Three episodes to go. Overall, well...ah I'll talk about it once I finish it. Let's just say my overall feeling with the series is about "meh", or maybe less than that.
So I'm thinking about buying a digital camera. One around $150 max, so not one that's all that great, just a solid camera that gets moderately good pics. Main reason is so that I can get pics for ACen, lol. But I figure that I could use one anyways. I'll probably check out BestBuy this weekend. Also Anime Stop and the Comic Book Shoppes in Ottawa are having a sale this weekend and next week! So now I get to see just how much willpower I have, lol. I need to stop buying things so I have SOME money to buy stuff at ACen. I figure there'll be much better stuff there too.
Speaking of Anime merchandise, I saw this sweet Gurren Lagann messenger bag on AnimeNation. Thinking about getting it. Since I saw some Anime messenger bags in the Comic Book Shoppe beside my work, I've been thinking about getting one. I've always been a backpack person, but I gotta say I think I'd really quite rather like those. I'd probably end up using both it and my backpack, since I cannot really see myself wanting to carry a crapton of textbooks when I'm working/studying in the library on campus or something. But just for classes, I can see myself using it.
Also got on the waiting list for Japanese 101 at University for next semester. I'm really hoping I can get into it. Mainly 'cause it'd be awesome to learn Japanese (and properly, not my horrible attempt at learning from a book, lol). But also because I'd really prefer to not have all five of my classes Physics classes. That's a helluva lot of work, and sometimes you just need a break with some easier/lighter workload course, like a simple CS or Arts course. Would've liked to take another Philosophy course, but there aren't any ones that look interesting being offered next semester. Unless I want to take Philosophy of LOVE.

EDIT AGAIN: Grrrr...I keep looking at Anime apparel and stuff online, and I want to buy stuff! But I keep thinking that it'd be better to just wait until ACen. I'll be able to get the same sort of stuff (sweatbands/wristbands, t-shirts) for the more or less same price, and I won't have to pay for shipping, right? It would be better to wait, right?
