Reconciliation of Friends: Co-op First Person Shooter
Because two against an army will mend any broken friendship.
So you and a close friend have had a bit of a falling out. Perhaps you got with their ex behind their back. Perhaps you kidnapped their younger sibling from the park.
Whatever the case, there is now a rift between you two. And do you want to fix it? Of course! They let you play their games! Using people for their material goods is but one of the key aspects of a true friendship.
So therefore, you need to do some damage control, and quick. Best thing to do?
Play a co-op FPS, or even TPS with them. There is nothing like destroying a race of aliens or zombies to get two people to be friends forever. The treasured bond that develops as you explode someone’s head, just as they were about to mangle your friend with a chainsaw is nothing short of beautiful.
This can even mend a more serious relationship, or make friends more than friends. I’ve heard some very inspiring stories about couples getting together through this sort of thing.
For instance, I’m pretty sure that Master Chief and the Arbiter got engaged not too long after Halo 3.
