Friend’s Birthday: Party Game
Because nothing says party like a game of Rock Band.

Now this idea of a “party” may be slightly difficult for many gamers to understand, due to lack of experience. So I’ll give a quick explanation, being someone that has actually been to over three of these so-called “party” things.

Since this person has “friends” (that is plural, as in, more than one, which may already seem like an awful lot already to most gamers), you can have a “group” (more than one, usually ranging above three) get together for one of the people’s birthdays. Just think of it the same terms like in your favourite MMORPG. Your party in that game, will be much like in real life. Except these will be people you know IRL.

And there will be cake.

And you need to get them a present. Instead of you stealing from them, and telling them a player killer stole it.

So obviously you are going to get them a game (what else could anyone possibly want?). But what game?

A Party Game. I realize that many of you will have not played these, due to their apparent n00bish-ness. However, I assure you, with other people (not just by yourself, as odd as that may seem), these “party” games can be quite a “hootenanny” as the kids say these days.

So be sure to get them one of the following: Mario Party (any of the 6 jillion that are out), Rock Band/Guitar Hero, or an “exciting multiplayer” style game of another genre (like Mario Kart Wii (racing), Castle Crashers (beat ‘em up), Raving Rabbids (insanity), or the Katamari games that have versus (not even the King of the Cosmos knows what genre he falls under)).

Do this, and I assure you, your experience of this “party” idea will be a positive one. You may even level up.
