Deidara's Past

"We argued for awhile before coming to an agreement. If I lost in a fight against Itachi, I would have to join. We fought for awihle, and eventualy I had him wrapped up in a clay centipede, about to blow him up. But he released the genjutsu I'd been in, revealing that I had actualy wrapped myself in the centipede. I had lost. The jutsu I'd spent a year perfecting for Kanako-san's sake had failed. Since then, I've visited Kanako-san's grave every year. This is that time of year."

"Deidara-sama..." Kasumi said. She hugged him and continued, "I never thought something so horrible could happen to someone so amazing. Please, let me go with you. I might not know her, but I feel that I should pay my respects to the woman who raised my lover."

"Alright...." Deidara said.

As they traveled towards Iwagakure, Kasumi couldn't help but say it,"Dei-Dei-Usagi-san, for the record, I think your extra mouths are kinda cute."

Deidara blushed slightly, "Yeah, I know." He wrapped his arm around Kasumi and hugged her, then held her hand for the rest of their journey.
