Hello there, this is Katana, also known as Kat in some circles. I'm your friendly neighborhood twenty-two-year-old illustrator/writer whose sarcasm is second to none and harboring the ability to verbalize the parentheses in stories. I drink coffee and draw like an addict and am liable to get you into things that I like. Currently the wielder of a BFA in Illustration and a minor in English.

Checked in on Krankor at the end of the day. My God. He's so cute. I love him. And his little wings are gettin' more feathers and eee! Also, I think I've found a home for him! One of my sophomore buddies said that her family has chickens and that they were interested in a rooster. Score! I just hope they want him...
Two more school days left, and I'll be done for the semester. So many parties going on...Monday is breakfast day in commercial art and then a Christmas party in AP the next hour. XD; Tuesday we're having a pizza party and stuff in AP English - nice because it's third hour, aka, the lunch hour. I really want to bring wassail to one event or another.
And Timber's hired me to design the t-shirt for her debate team. o3o COOL. What I find funny is that her school's initials are the same as mine. XD CHS, yeah!
Three more [school] days and I'm done for the semester. Ohemeffgee.
But before then, I have to assemble my fashion design, do an AP project, and make a tech theater portfolio over the play "No Exit". Alright!
Tonight is the second night of the holiday concert. Last night went really well and was a lot more streamlined than in years past - all the better for us, the band, who have short attention spans and get bored easily. Trumpets were rushing, as per usual, and I played a F rather than a F# at one point, but that's okay, I fixed it. >>;
We did a little lab tonight in animal science to prove the pecking order of our chicks. And you know what? Krankor comes out on top. YEAH! He's also got little feathers on the tips of his wings, and he likes to run around and jump. 8D

I wasn't able to check on him today, but we've learned more of his personality. Of the four chicks that hatched, three of them are boys and one is a girl. Krankor is a gentleman - the other two guys pick on the hen, but he doesn't and kinda stands around her when those two try to pull crap.
Another chick is trying to pull dominance. They do this by sticking their heads underneath each other and then lifting up, like they're trying to buck them off. Krankor walks away before he can and gives him a "back off bitch" look.
Go see this for how this came about. But in the meantime...
