At first, I thought the hives were going away, because they were, well, disappearing. My arms, legs, and hands were fairly normal with only some light pink to show where they were.
Then I took a shower and noticed an implosion on my torso, back, and shoulders. Yeah, they moved. And I can't figure out what I'm allergic to!
So tomorrow, it's off to the doctor. Another missed day of band camp...well, I hope not. We're supposed to pelt the underclassmen with water balloons tomorrow. Man...
Last night, timechaser and I were chatting away while watching Cave Dwellers. I stretched my arms out and noticed some odd shapes and colors on my arms.
The length of my arm was covered in these weird red spots that sorta looked like many many many mosquito bites (except not). I had noticed them earlier on my lower torso and thighs and thought they were from my bass carrier or something. Further investigation revealed them on the outer sides of my legs.
So after freaking out to timechaser and deciding to wait until the morning, I proceeded to finish Cave Dwellers and make icons.
When I woke up this morning, the bumps weren't as large but the red was still there. As I ate breakfast, my mom saw them and freaked out. In the end, I have hives, though we're not exactly sure why and from what. The only thing I can think of is aloe that I put on my sunburns, but those didn't react. Plus, I put the aloe on the spots after I saw them. So I still have no idea.
With that being said, I'm off of band camp today. When I called my director, I told him to tell the drumline "so they don't think I'm wussing out".
Also, icons. I figured out why the .gif conversions came out so botched, so I'm happy.
1 - From episode 402, "The Giant Gila Monster". I swear I'm done now (maybe).
2 - From episode 418, "Attack of the Eye Creatures". You need to watch the clip.
3 - From episode 511, "Gunslinger". The segment is possibly the most philosophical they get on the show. One of my favorites.
4 - From episode 301, "Cave Dwellers" which is a classic in and of itself. Joel has crazy floofy hair during the episode, which makes it even better.
New post over at the SoL. My first one to boot, so I hope it's good...
There were thunderstorms/tornadoes around here last night. Our power was knocked out from 7:30pm to about noon today. It sucked. >_>
Band camp was...fine. I got sunburned right underneath my shorts and on the back of my neck (missed/forgot to put sunscreen on). Hot, sweaty, stinky, but not sore. Yet.
Yesterday during the storms in the night, we were at the school playing games and bonding and stuff. We were in the commons and confided there until the warnings past. So I grabbed some colored pencils and these word puzzles, flipped over said puzzles, and doodled - timeservo and Kat T. Robot.
Then today during the lunch break, I doodled again. Finally, the trio is complete. It's kind of weird to try and explain it to the kiddies (I call them my groupies, to which I say they should neither take pride nor be offended by it). Since I've been throwing out random MST3K quotes during camp, I've told several of them to watch it "if you have two hours to kill". Let's see if it works.
On that note, Shin, TC, and I have teamed up to create Satellite of Love. We're still working on some minor things, but the first post is up!
Also, here's your batch of random icons:
The first two are from the movie, the other two from episode 402, "The Giant Gila Monster". I have two more, but I need to work out their colors because they save a bit wonky.
And finally, happy birthday to the dude in Canadia, SomeGuy.
Um, I guess...magic happened or something?
Yeah, I'm...confused...
...
Though secretly delighted..
Yesterday's birthdapalooza was spent playing Super Smash Brothers Brawl, courtesy of Waffles. While her real present was a shiny DeviantArt subscription, she also whipped this up for me, which I adore. Other gifts included money, gift cards, and shirts.
I think my addiction to MST3K has settled into my brain and found its happy place. In other words, I'm not suffering withdrawl whenever I'm not watching it. Or if I am, all I gotta do is find a way to quote it and I'm good.
...Hence why my final smash is "Quoting Blast of Utter Fandom Doom".
Though that doesn't mean I'm not amusing myself. Along with making a random card, I've been making little avatars. Besides my current one:
And then I had an odd ending to a dream last night. I mean, it was weird enough when my dream from Wednesday had silhouettes in front of the image, making fun of whatever was going on. [I woke up and said "What the HELL was THAT?!" ] But last night's dream took place in a first-person view of SSBB. I was Zero Suit Samus [because I had a lame gun...] being chased by Snake on this series of rooftops and stuff. I was getting blasted like crazy, to which I turned around and said, "How the hell do you do that?! Not fair!" Snake stopped and answered, "Random button smash, I dunno..."
Then it phased to where I was standing in front of the table of the SoL. It turns out Mike and Crow were playing SSBB, shouting and complaining to one another. Tom Servo was next to me, the two of us observing them with the basic sentiment of "o_O" between us. To change the subject, I turned to him and went, "Oh, by the way, it's my birthday," to which he replied, "Ah, happy birthday." He then made a motion to hug me, which he couldn't since he has no working arms, saying, "So uh, how do you wanna do this?" So I gave the hug.
Damn, what a weird dream.
[Edit] HAY GUYS GUESS WAT I BOUGHT
Purchased with birthday money/gift card. I got a sweet discount on the boxset, and the guy who checked me out was also a fan. I left the store in a grinning fit.
[/Edit]
Band camp starts tomorrow, which means I'll be missing during the day and evening (sans Wednesday). I'll be popping on in the morning, late afternoon, and night, though. This also means that if you guys spot me online past 1am CST, tell me to go to bed. >_>;
