Hello there, this is Katana, also known as Kat in some circles. I'm your friendly neighborhood twenty-two-year-old illustrator/writer whose sarcasm is second to none and harboring the ability to verbalize the parentheses in stories. I drink coffee and draw like an addict and am liable to get you into things that I like. Currently the wielder of a BFA in Illustration and a minor in English.

Questions? Comments? Death threats? Feel free to PM or message me in some iteration. I'm always around, you just don't know it.

"Some of the great artists of our time started off by doodling in class. ...Maybe. Oh heck I dunno."

Too much

Where are we going to get $3,000...

Please, someone, just get rid of my brother. Just...pluck him away. Get rid of him. I don't care where he goes.

The sooner he leaves, the sooner my mom will be sane.

The sooner he leaves, the sooner we'll have money to do more than just pass by.

The sooner he leaves, the sooner the lies will stop.

The sooner he leaves, the sooner life gets better.

Quick post

Have to work tonight, so I'll be shipping out soon...

- I'm sick with a sore throat, but I'm fighting it off the best I can.

- And just to hit me while I'm done, it's that time o' the month.

- My internet has been crappola for a few days now. Well, the browser is, the IM services not. What typically happens is that I either have to refresh a page about ten times before it connects or there will be a two-minute stint of things working before going down again. Ugh.

- Say hi to Nom Nom, my card holder box I made for our little party in AP English. Yes. XD

- I'm President of art club. Wooh!

- Three-day weekend, yes.

- My mom is making me this. Sorta. She's making me a hat from the pattern. It's blue and black. I made a joke about it, but she actually decided to make it. ;_;

- Dad's going to China tomorrow (coming back Thursday). I asked for a souvenir, he said he'd do his best to bring back a pair of chopsticks.

Ah, spring

Filthy, shameful spring...

It's only February 7th, but we've hit a lovely 52 degrees. VERY much welcomed after being blasted the past few weeks with frigid winter weather. I have my window open and everything...so nice...:3~

I was in the Sheep chat last night and in the middle of the third episode WHEN MY WI-FI DIED. D8 It's been acting up this week, but of course it had to hit when I was entertaining myself. GAWD INTERNET, WAY TO BE. B(

Went out for breakfast this morning with my friend Missy...then I went over to her house and met her new puppy, Ruby. She's an English Springer Spaniel, nine weeks old, so adorable. >w< I love how puppies kinda wobble around and gallop awkwardly...I miss having a young dog around. *has two that are still tiny anyway*

I think the weather is affecting my brain...I just wanna lie in the sun and smell the breeze and take a nap....but I have to work tonight, guh...Guess I'll be catching the Doctor Who season finale [on BBC America] at 11.

Oh yeah, so, my ranting essay on internet grammar was published. XD; So far I haven't gotten any flaming, just one misunderstanding that I had to sort out...And...*falls asleep*

.........

...

.........

ALSO, somebody ate my bacon. D8< God I was so pissed. I know who it was too. *stares at brother's room*

It's tourism, commerce, and industry!

My mom has her knitting guild over...bunch o' older ladies up in the living room doing their...knitting thing. And stuff.

Dad and I are in the basement watching "The Giant Spider Invasion" in honor of Super Bowl Sunday and the great "PACKERS WON THE SUPER BOWL WOOOOOH!" riff. Since my dad is from Wisconsin, he is really loving it. XD

...Like, really really loving it.

"Y'know, if this were playing in California, it wouldn't be as funny...You really have to be here to get all the references."
"And that's why it's one of my favorite episodes."

I was out and bought a buncha snacks for tonight's Super Bowl replacement, Movie Sign. Deathstalker! Got chips and French Onion dip, cookies, ice cream, bacon (long story), and Ginger Ale to help it all go down. >>; ...I neeeded some snackage because we have none in the house. Looking forward to hoarding it.

Tomorrow is a field trip to see A Midsummer Night's Dream in Chicago. Have to report to school before 7:20. >_O Whee~!

Thanks Internet!

Thanks Internet! The Devolution of the English Language Disclaimer: This is a paper - a generalization, to be precise - written for my AP English class. Like many things in life, it's not meant to be taken seriously, no...
