Hello there, this is Katana, also known as Kat in some circles. I'm your friendly neighborhood twenty-two-year-old illustrator/writer whose sarcasm is second to none and harboring the ability to verbalize the parentheses in stories. I drink coffee and draw like an addict and am liable to get you into things that I like. Currently the wielder of a BFA in Illustration and a minor in English.

Questions? Comments? Death threats? Feel free to PM or message me in some iteration. I'm always around, you just don't know it.

Now THAT'S exciting

Day started off normally. Wake up, sip coffee, get dressed, get in the car, go off to school.

'cept I swerved on some ice/snow. I did all the tricks we learned in driver's ed, but I ended up fishtailing, spinning a 180, and ending up deep in the snow on the side of the road. YAY.

Poor Mitsukuni, he's such a trooper. XD; I ended up camping in the car for a half hour before my mom came to wait for the tow truck with me [she brought me more coffee]. The whole ordeal lasted about an hour, and I got to school with about twenty minutes left in first hour. >>;

Many many cars passed me by while I waited. Only six stopped to ask if I was okay, one of them being a cop, one of them my gym teacher, and another a nurse at the middle school. One guy offered to pull me out, but that was after the tow guy was called...another guy asked if I was alright, as did some lady...I was very appreciative, but had everything taken care of when they all stopped.

Everything went well, until I almost fell asleep [and actually might've drifted off a little] during third hour. ...Then I was good fourth hour. Afterwards was tech club...we built a screen...Also got to play around with some new toys [read: compact power drills].

...........

OH RIGHT.

Blago got kicked out of governorhood! 4:52pm, to be precise. Now we've got Quinn in. And. Stuff.

Also, the blue box [aka, the Notifications box] is way too effing big now.

Oh woooow...

I think the school filter broke again, and that might be because the internet was down for the past two days. Maybe the filter's a little off.

I found this out when I was able to get to here without using quota time. Also, I can get onto DeviantArt. Bwahaa. (Not really. This actually means very little.)

Random stuff:

1.) RiffTrax Live tonight. Whee!

2.) "Oh My, Plotholes" has somehow gotten like, 150 views in the past day and a half. "Wtf"s ensue.

3.) Waffles is cooking up her new comic starring her action figures. The Adventures of Action!Axel has its first strip. When we did WaKD, a lot of the funny stuff came from her...I was more of the drawing person...So I suggest checking it out if you liked the warped humor that came from those old things. XD

Muh

I'm in a mode where I seriously just don't want to go to school. I just don't. And it's not like there's anything really going on...I just don't want to go.

It may have to do with the fact that I feel like I got jacked out of a weekend. >:| Friday I worked, Saturday I was doing college stuff and then pep band, and yesterday I worked. Agh.

Last night's Movie Sign was...somethin' else. I was surprised to see that they were only on part one when I got back, and it took us forever to chug through Manos - IE, we didn't get done until 9:30. Still, we had a solid turn-out (fourteen at the peak) and had a person come for the first time and a returner from last week. Good stuff!

...

Ugh, school...

Weekends: The Days of Fate

Weekends are way too damn short. Two days. That's it. Have fun, kids! Oh, and don't forget all the work you have to do! *strangling motions*

Today I work my first Sunday since July 13th. That's right. Over six months, or 28 weeks, or 192 days. And of course, we've started Movie Sign since then. AND OF COURSE, tonight is when we're watching Manos the goshsparlnit Hands of effing Fate.

Thank God, coffee's ready.

...

Ah, that's better.

So yeah. Manos tonight. I have to work. Sundays we open an hour earlier and thusly close an hour early, so I'll be shipping out of here around 3. If - and this is a huge if - if I'm lucky, I'll make it back in time to catch most of the movie but having missed out on the short. If.

Blaaah.

Pardon this nerdout

A few weeks ago, Satellite News had a weekend discussion thread on how Joel wanted to answer 20 more questions...so our task was to think of some questions. I, of course, contributed.

I woke up this morning and, as I was flicking through my daily routine of bookmarks, I went, "I wonder if Joel has answered those questions yet". Literally two seconds later, I was reading that he indeed had.

Also, he answered mine.

8D Number fourteen~!

'course...I feel a bit ridiculous because my question wasn't edited for brevity and then got a one-sentence response. XD But what else can you expect, eh? Ah well, it's coo'.
