Hello there, this is Katana, also known as Kat in some circles. I'm your friendly neighborhood twenty-two-year-old illustrator/writer whose sarcasm is second to none and harboring the ability to verbalize the parentheses in stories. I drink coffee and draw like an addict and am liable to get you into things that I like. Currently the wielder of a BFA in Illustration and a minor in English.

Questions? Comments? Death threats? Feel free to PM or message me in some iteration. I'm always around, you just don't know it.

I'm sitting here in the kitchen on Piers the lappy while Terumi cooks dinner. We're having "make your own bastardized sushi" night. Chicken and hotdogs, in MY sushi? Yeap!

So anyway, sitting here, Terumi looks up. "...Why is there smoke?"

Oh snap. I immediately open the window and then check to make sure the cake-thing I made in the oven isn't burning despite the fact that I turned off the oven a half hour ago.

Then I look at the stove. There's a pot on the back burner with something in it.

"What's in the pot?"

"Oil."

"THERE'S YOUR ANSWER!"

It's been a month!

Congratulations Kat! You and three of your best friends have been able to live with one another for a month under the same roof!

Geezum, did I really move-in here on August 20th? And I haven't made very many posts since haven't lost my mind yet? I mean, I've heard warnings about living with friends, but as it turns out, we're pretty good at it.

Then again, I heard that the problem of living with friends tends to happen when you make that high school-college jump...anyhow.

I'm rather impressed with us, actually. The biggest warning I got from my parents was eating out and such, but we haven't done too much of that. Less than we did in the dorms, come to think of it. Didn't think that would happen but...huh.

I'm having a hard time writing this post, for whatever reason.

I'm in a weird state, where not a lot is going on and yet everything is happening. I have my frustrations and my easies, things I'll explore in a post probably tomorrow. For now, I have to do some grammar work.

Slowly but surely

I will conquer the art department with drawings of attractive British men.

And I'm glad we don't invite politically correct people to our house.
