ACT nao!

I view this as a tradition:

'gome's birthday fell on a Sunday last year, meaning that I gave her that picture on a Saturday/Sunday night. Yeap! Good times from the past!

Today was the ACT. I feel the only appropriate way to tell you what they were like is to copy-paste the IM with 'gome...

Sangome: ACTs murdersome?
Katana: Guh
Katana: Well
Katana: It started off with English
Katana: Where I'm like "WOOH HELLS YEAH AWESOME! >D"
Katana: Then it moved to math where I went "hey this isn't so bad OMFG WHAT'S GOING ON WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!"
Katana: Then reading, which was like ".............................*snore*"
Sangome: Geh
Katana: Science, which had me going "what the hell is going on and why should I care"
Sangome: I feel sorry for all my junior friends
Katana: And then the writing portion, which made me laugh because the prompt was the easiest thing evar [especially after AP Brit Lit]

I was in the same room as a friend of mine [because they split us up by last names], and I'm like "this is why I'm an art person". And to make it worse, it feels like I'm surrounded by frickin' geniuses [*COUGHTIMBERCOUGH*] that make me feel pressured to do really really well.

Eh, whatever.

In other news, the school held this contest to re-design the "Rocket Rowdies" [terrible name, I know] t-shirt. First place got two t-shirts with the design and $100. Hey, I could use money! 8D

When I turned in my design yesterday, the office was stumped [and being their usual grouchy selves]. While I insisted that the poster said [and it did indeed say] to turn the things into the office, they were like "WELL we don't know anything!" So the shooed me off to the athetlic office, and while the lady seemed a bit stumped, she took the design.

Later, my friends tell me that the contest was run by our band director because he's in charge of pep club, and that I should've turned it in to him. "FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IT SAID TURN IT INTO THE OFFICE AND HIS NAME IS NOWHERE ON THAT POSTER RAAWR".

For the curious, you can see my design here. I like it, and of all the people I showed it to, one girl was actually going to be 'affected' by it, and she thought it was awesome.

If I do indeed win [*proceeds to knock wood*], then I will, as promised, buy pizza at ACen. Well, I was thinking of Sunday, when 'gome will be there, and maybe a tiny little party of Otakuites and stuff. ...The rest of the money is going towards gas. =D;;
