Target was selling DS's for $99. With a deal like that, I decided, why the hell not? and picked up a brand spankin' new DS.
It's blue (and black).
I named it Picard.
BECAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE MY LAPTOP BUT MINI!
Along with the DS I bought Drawn to Life and Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations. Drawn to Life is like, a mindless, rather mundane game, but with - OH MY GOD I GET TO COLOR MY OWN HANG GLIDER?! And you realize you've never really grown up. Nevertheless, it has its charm, though I'm not telling you guys to buy it.
Phoenix Wright is getting me back where I love to be, which is mindlessly tapping the screen while my room is pitch dark and the only source of illumination is the friggin' bright light from the DS. Also utilizing the "save my game before presenting evidence and if the music doesn't change I restart" system.
I'm going to be making a special post at the Satellite of Love world later today, so if you're interested, keep an eye out on that. Post is up, check it out if you wish. Nehs and I had a good time working on it. Anyway, this Sunday is our one year anniversary spectacularmathon, and holy shiz I can't believe it. Our test run was August 10th, our official first one was August 17th...wow.
Good God we've watched a lot of crap.
Bah, I've got one week until move-in, so I'll be packing this weekend. Also, today is the nineteenth birthday of my bestest buddy, Lorenza...man, time flies.
