It's either a husband or ten cats

Things have been chugging along here in the world of Kat. There isn't really much to say - classes still occur, I've got to knock out homework, work is on the weekends, and things of that sort.

This past Saturday, Waffuru had a game night at her house, to which I made those rainbow cupcakes for. The night consisted primarily of Monopoly and Trival Pursuit, proving we have no knowledge in anything pre-1980 and sheer dumb luck will always prevail. Ryu also proved that being really tall and wearing a hat and a trenchcoat will make you look REALLY suspicious.

My parents were gone for the weekend due to my uncle's death, so I...had to take care of the house. With my brother being not just bipolar but also a complete moron, I essentially had to do, well, everything. Cleaning the kitchen, feeding and taking the dogs outside, doing the laundry, and just generally making sure things didn't explode. I got out of there as quickly as I could come Sunday, but the look my dog was giving me mad me so sad. Luckily the parentals were back Sunday night.

And my art classes. Again I'd like to state that Art 102 > Art 100. We're finally busting out into value in both classes though, even if that just means charcoal for Art 100. We went outside Monday since it was actually nice and sunny, but because I cannot draw nature I ended up drawing a pen I found in the grass instead. For 102, we did ink portraits, and those who have been in Chat know of my torture when it comes to these. The class voted my line version as the bet of the class (since I ACTUALLY showed contrast), though the stippled one was very well liked. I was rather miffed when the critique was cut down to the "four best", and my someone...got forgotten. Groan.

Oh, and about the title.

So last night, me, Rebecca, Terumi, and Jiaqi were coming back from 102, and we were about to walk into the entrance to Neptune East when we were pushed back out by fire marshal. Apparently, there was a fire drill going on in Neptune, so we had to camp out in front of the building and wait about five minutes for everyone out to be herded out.

We were outside forever, verified by the fact that I texted Lindsey and she said she "just missed it" (her dorm is further away). When we were finally allowed back in, me, Terumi, and Jiaqi went to the Trident and got some food and just ended up talking about languages and culture and art and school and then finally on boyfriends and husbands. And we determined that Jiaqi, who is so against getting married, will either have a husband in ten years or a bunch of cats. Yeah, I know.
