I've realized that over this break, I really don't frickin' do anything. Let's face it - I've got four weeks to be as sloth-filled as I want, and I'm probably in the 90th percentile for that.
Last night/this morning/in-limbo, I went to bed at 2am, far earlier than I have been. Of course, I didn't fall asleep until past 3, which sort of negates the victory. And then I wasn't up and out of bed until 1:15pm or so. I guess I'm alright with it but it's kind of annoying to wake up and have the sun set in three hours. At least in the night I've got peeps to entertain me, right? Still, merr.
Ah - uh - hmm...
OH man, there's something I've totally negated posting about! It seems kind of redundant and stupid to be talking about RiffTrax Live Christmas Extravaganza, which happened nearly two weeks ago, but I'm going to go ahead and talk about it anyway because of something amazing amusing that happened.
Ryu joined me in this adventure and we got to the theater at like, 6:40, finding it nearly devoid of life forms. So we sat and amused ourselves, the theater slowly filling with people until it was roughly half-filled. Then the thing started.
So without fanfare, the boys came out to a simple announcement, there were cheers, I squeed (Mike in a blue sweater) and then I said, rather loudly, "Oh my God a Doctor Who scarf!" because Bill was, indeed, sporting a scarf ala Four. And then they riffed on shorts, and it was all great fun, some slow spots but also some brilliance.
When I got home, I bummed around and then noticed that on Twitter, Bill had said the following:
BillCorbett - Thanks everyone for the nice words about #RifftraxLive! We had a blast, and hope you had fun too. @alyankovic, thank you!
But also:
BillCorbett - P.S. "Doctor Who" scarf? That's fair, except that mine was longer. (OH yeah, I said that, The Doctor. Whachoo gonna do?)
To which I said:
Kataoi - @BillCorbett Or is that just 'cause you're shorter than the Doctor?
Not expecting anything in return BUT OMFG WHAT IS THIS:

'course, I didn't notice until two hours after the fact, but I did reply with:
