"Hey do you alread(y) have plans for tomorrow?!?!"
"What's tomorrow?"
"...You have to ask?"
"loljk"
And I am burnt to a freaking crisp.
Yesterday afternoon, I was text-message-assaulted by my idkbff Lorenza, asking what to do for my birthday. And I had nothing. She and her co-conspirator, our friend Meghan, then decided to take me Raging Waves, this huge waterpark down a little ways from us. They picked me up a little after 9, we got in at 10, and then the fun began.
The place is awesome, and since it was a weekday, the lines weren't bad at all. Bunch of different slides and things, some with rafts, some not, all gone on at least twice. So much chlorinated water up the nose, but it was so worth it. I haven't had so much in forever, and we did a lot of reminiscing to middle and high school while waiting in line.
The people at the locker rental counter also gave me a sparkly wristband because it was my birthday. This is known throughout the park as being special, since a bunch of the lifeguards told me happy birthday. ...As they pushed us down the slides of turbulent water.
Still, it was AWESOME.
On the drive home, I realized that I had to go to NIU tomorrow for orientation work. That was probably the worst part of the day.
Upon coming home, I took a shower, revealing how bad the burn is (but definitely not as bad as my epic burn from last year, of which I couldn't sleep on for two nights) and managed to drag myself online for a bit to see what was up. I was exhausted.
HOLY CRAP INBOX CRAMMED OF STUFF
So I put that off and went out for Chinese with my family.
Came back and, before cake, I managed to scope everything out. I was Facebook assaulted like no other, as well as being attacked on DA and very much here as well. Yikes!
Then there was cake. It had lots of sprinkles on it. Mom and Dad gave me some money, a sketchbook, inking pens, and a shirt. Good times.
And here I sit, tired as all get out but very, very happy. This is probably one of the best birthdays I've had, and really, I am so grateful for you all dosing out the b-day love. I'm crying at it all. Really.
Thank you to everyone who spammed up my Facebook wall (since several of you cross territories). Thanks to everyone who signed my guestbook with the same wishes.
To my fake-sister Robyn, who drew me this when I really didn't expect it AT ALL. Aghahaa I lu u.
More thanks to Nehs, Trip, 1dev13, Shishou, Timba, Wayboy, Furry-Chibi, TC, 'gome, bell, Ace, and TomaKuchiki for the gifts. YAAAY sprite-things!
And I am so forgetting things, but my brain is absolutely fried. Really, thank you guys. This has been a great day.
Time to change the introduction...
