Ahhh...had a lot to say, but a busy week as usual crept up on me. Plus, there are just things I don't have the energy to talk about but have to.

- Halloween was last weekend, and I had a good time. I wore my 11th Doctor costume on Friday (the 29th) for extra credit in Sociology - even though I'd been planning to do it since day one. This one's the favorite photo from the day.

- In the case of the missing student whose case has been turned into a homicide investigation - they've caught a suspect. Well, last week they did. The creep (certifiably one) is being charged with sexual assault, murder, and arson. Yes. Combine the three, and you have an idea of what's going on with that.

My mom told me she's going to go to his court hearing, which I support. I finally got to hear opinion on the whole thing, since I haven't been home in a while: As expected, she is especially bothered by the situation because, well, there's me, her daughter, going to the same school, same dorm, same major, doing the same things.

So...that's what's going on with that.

- Today was SoFA, an art show at Navy Pier in Chicago (it was in the back part, with the white roof). Freaking huge! But very cool. I think it was more of a 3D showcase, tons of glass work and sculpture and just lots of sparkly things. In particular coolness were these glass bottles with varying themes; I link to that one because it had a camera inside it so we were trying to cram around it and get a picture.

Looong day, which involved lots of walking and lots of coffee. So really, it was a good day.

- Tonight I we get an extra hour of sleep! How awesomely awesome is that? I'm going to need it, since I have to go out tomorrow and get lumber for Painting and then work on a painting for Painting. Sigh.
