So you know how I said that, with an intervention from God, I would get 5 A's and a B?
That intervention totes happened! I finally finished a semester with a good GPA (3.8) and am slowly on the path to recovery from my first semester with my douchebag music professor who gave me a D (overall GPA is at 3.476, though the rules of rounding allow me to make it a 3.5, so heeey).
It's somewhat of a depressing matter that my B came in Illustration - you know, my major. Though my prof pointed out to me in my review that my strong suit was color and he could see me really working well with it, which is good because Intermediate Illustration is alllll color. Illustration 1 and 2 are all black and white up until the last three projects (as you have witnessed), so the odds weren't really working in my favor.
Yes, I shouldn't complain. I'm not! I learned to let go of straight A's come eighth grade. I just wish I understood how getting 88.9 out of 100 points in History 111 somehow qualified me for an A.
