Finally got out of the house and went to the park district water park that just opened up. Got MagicalZombie to come along and we had fun while being surrounded by six-year-olds.
I mean, it was a Friday, so I get why most of the patrons were parents with their little children. It was just kinda weird. The park isn't all that exciting either, with a lazy river, four slides, and a shallow pool area. It really is meant for families over anybody else. Still, it was nice to go there and derp about.
The fun thing about the slides was that you had to be 48" to go on them. And a lot of little kids got rejected (I know, that's mean). But this one boy was coming down with his mother after being rejected and went "Don't worry Mom, maybe I'll be tall enough when I'm five!"
But anyway, sunblock - I'm starting to think it doesn't really help me. I had freaking SPF 85 on that I applied twice and I still got burned. It isn't as bad as the one I got last year on my birthday or the year before at my friend's graduation party, seeing as how I can wear clothes and not hurt and was able to sleep on it. And really, anything not my shoulders looks pretty good today.
Best part is probably the fact that you can see streaks on my back of where I was able to get sunscreen on and where I wasn't able to reach. Good times.
