Commercial art's rolling right along with the designing of our fashion design project. I worked on my design board last night, so I'm ahead of the game in class...Here's a preview of what I've got so far. The model shows I am clearly not cut out for the fashion world, because she's rather chunky for one.
But because of all the practice drawings we did of models, I've taken to drawing in this really lanky style as a means of exploring how to draw. TC poked fun at it [Joel can't get a break], and I understand why...For me, it's a major departure from my typical styling, so it's kinda weird.
Anyways.
Struykman [band director, remember] asked me to design a poster for our marching band concert, known as Bring the Noise. I really had no idea what to do, so I threw this together while watching Gurren Lagann last night. >>; Had to be greyscale, so I just figured I'd go the straight-up black and white route. Not very fond of it, but I don't hate it either...Meh.
And finally, with the speculation of a Majora's Mask coming about with the hadron collider, and Timber and 'gome and I have fantastic speculation about it...
