I'm in an odd state of geekout. I mean, I'm excited, but also friggin' nervous. It's kind of like the days and hours leading up to ACen, except this is a bit different.

In case you're just tuning in, my topic of excitement is seeing Cinematic Titanic in Chicago tonight. After the show, I get to meet the crew and buy stuff and get things signed. Yeah, nerd bliss right thar.

What makes this different from ACen is the fact that my age group isn't quite the norm for its fans. Anime is a teenager/young adult thing...CT is...well, not. It's a carryover from a show that was created before I was born and ran until I was in middle school [well, re-runs]. I watched it on TV when I was a toddler and up until Comedy Central took it off, so while I have memories of it, they're not exactly active ones - I remember tidbits and pieces and emotions I had. [For instance, the puppets creeped me out, and I thought the silhouettes were funny and neat.]

It's not like I'm worried about this fact, I'm just kinda...curious.

But I'm still just so friggin' excited. Camera's charged, cell's charging to full capacity, wallet is full, necklace is ready, and the Kat is...antsy. XD
