STOP THE NEAR-INSANITY!

So. I'm officially going crazy. Or rather, the phrase "crazier than a crapfight in a monkey house" is holding REALLY well to me.

The AP Studio Art test is Friday, which means portfolios have to be turned in then. However, since I have the class on Thursday, that's when I'll be turning mine in.

So many touch-ups, re-hashes, tweaks, and just little details. EHEHEHEHEEEE.

It also doesn't help that for the past week, I have been legitimately busy. It started Wednesday, with an art club meeting, and kinda just kept going from there. Thursday we played EXTREEEEEME KICKBALL in gym. I took a hit for the team and ended up hurting my right glute >_>; After school was another art club meeting, wherein afterward, I went over to Lorenza's house to do some cooking for the Fine Arts Showcase that was to happen Friday. Well, we had the intention of "baking", since there was going to be a bake sale, but we ended up making all these no-bake recipes. Home made Tagalongs, anyone?

But yeah, Thursday ran so that I just slept over at her house, then went to school Friday armed with a bunch of sweets, my art portfolio, and a headache. Didn't help that we had a facking test in College Algebra (over conics, which I bombed here and there and ended up with a 78 - hey, I'm still getting a B in the class). AP Art was absolute madness, since our teacher is tweaking out and just going crazy like the rest of us. Earth Science was calm, and then fourth hour, my independent study, I spent working on stuff for the art show.

From there, I descend into madness, since I'm the president and just me freaking out. I was nervous that nobody would show up, or that it would be a dud, that none of the stuff would sell...It also didn't help that there's two freshmen in the club that piss me and off and literally do nothing but piss me off.

We had the bake sale, a raffle of artwork, silk-screen t-shirt printing, and then me and Lorenza drawing chibis of people. Well, she drew, I inked (Me: "I'd feel bad having people pay for my chibis"; Her: "I can't use marker D8"). ...Aaaand we were busy the whole freaking night. XD It was hard, but actually quite relaxing, since the jazz band was performing in the commons with us. Us grooving and laughing put our minds at ease.

All in all, the show raised roughly $400 or so, which I'm relieved. During the night, Ryu came up to me and we just threw things back and forth at each other...I joked about how TC must've been freaking out, since it was Friday night and I had yet to post up the Movie Sign announcement. Hurr hurr.

Saturday was spent at Matt and Cara's new house, which is this small little ranch with a nice fenced yard for their two pugs. I asked on the progress of the MST boxsets I loaned them. Matt loves the shorts, while both professed their great love for "The Giant Spider Invasion". XD They've been skipping around the sets, since "Giant Gila Monster" was in their DVD player. (Thank God, I was not looking forward to having a Joel versus Mike debate...)

Saturday night I worked, but it was absolutely dead. I taught two of the waitresses about the meaning of the word "phallic". Keep in mind, these are educated people. However, it was just...I was dying. Then the boss told me I could leave and go to little Sophie's birthday party, which I did. There were silly string and squirt gun fights, bonfires, story-telling, and of course, cake. Nom.

Sunday I spent in the basement, armed with my laptop, art supplies, portfolio, and my life-giving beverages of coffee (in the morning) and soda (the afternoon). In-between splicing and uploading "King Dinosaur" to YouTube, I went to work, revamping pieces. Finished the second half of "Laserblast", watched the "History of MST3K Part 2", then popped in "Future War" and, when that was finished, watched the ComicCon panel (I love the 20th Anniversary boxset). I started viewing "First Spaceship On Venus", but then it was dinner time.

Movie Sign was a good time, though it was weird to be back on YouTube. I love how I can say the phrase "this is how we did it back in the old days", to which Kei said "you talk as if it's been here since forever". I'd say 40 weeks is an effing long time for an internet thing. XD But unlike the old days, we really cracked down between clips, minimizing the lazing-around time. And TEHEEEE, Last of the Wild Horses is slated for Sunday. Oh squee. Oh squee indeed.

Monday was National Honors Society induction, and the seniors were in charge of bringing dessert. Also, I was in a skirt. Nothing much to be said about this night other than the fact that I went to bed at 11pm, something unheard of.

Yesterday, more batshit craziness in AP. After school, me and Waffles went over to Analise's house, wherein we got our cloaks fitted and hemmed. I'm picking them up today and somehow need to make the bead things - not a problem, I have the materials from last year. Waffles, I have an idea for attachment: safety pins.

After getting back, I went to work, and marathoned the digital portions of my art projects from 6:30 to 10:20pm. You could tell I was going insane: at 9pm, after two hours of Good Eats and Ace of Cakes, I put on music, and was belting out songs in grand ol' karaoke style. It was terrible. Then I took a shower and lost all drive and just kinda blahed from there.

I have been absolutely exhausted the past few nights, and OMFG ACen in two days. Now excuse me, I'm in class right now...
