This book made me wish that I wouldn’t get kidnapped and have to go through the rest of your life realizing you have been living with not your real mom or dad. Also I wouldn’t ever want to find my face on a milk carton at school and know that is me just not my name. I realized that in this world people do get kidnapped and if they are young and they have been living with the same people all there life they will not know any better than to think you were kidnapped and you liked it. I decided that Janie should have been able to stay with the people she wanted and not have to go live with her real parents cause in her heart she was with her parents and plus the Spring had gotten over Jennie anyways. I wonder now if my parents are really my parents or if my friend’s parents are really there parents. That if they were kidnapped and didn’t know it. I see why the Springs would want the long lost daughter but they have to think about what they are doing to Jennie. I believed that Janie was not kidnapped in the beginning of the book because she didn’t even know. I felt that she wanted to kiss reeve before she left but didn’t want to start crying also didn’t want to do it in front of his parents. I hope that Jennie will be fine and ever thing works out in her life.
