In my English class I am currently preparing for this debate I have on Thursday......[eww] My topic is:
SHOULD PARENTS SPANK THEIR CHILDREN?
What sucks the most about this debate is that I don't know which side I'm going to get. This. Sucks. I have to study both sides of the debate and then I found the day of which side I get.
So I'm reading all these articles. documents. stats. etc. and I'm realizing that some people fucked up in the head. [excuse my language] But honestly. This one scientist guy was like "Children definitely need to be punished! I go usually use a paddle. found at any art store. or go into my yard and pick a branch off the tree." [end with giant smile] I was like shocked that people still do that. Like a lot of people still do that. No joke. And they were like comparing spanking to how slave owners could beat their slaves...People are retarded.
Now my view on this is that a light tap on the ass is okay AFTER talking to them and explaining what they did wrong hasn't worked. I'd like to know what you think. Maybe something you say can help me in my debate :D
