I didn't post about what went down on the 4th for me XD; It's kinda after the fact, so I proably won't go into much detail, so I'll just cover the highlights.
-- Visited my grandmother's house for for a 4th o' July cookout
-- Helped set up some things in the backyard
-- Played an intense game of badminton (not for points) until I couldn't stand
-- Went inside and forced cousins to play Apples to Apples
-- Set up Wii and played "Just Dance" and "World of Goo" demo
-- Ate BBQ
-- Played more just dance
-- Time to go, mom wanted me to drive (my arms were too tired to move)
-- I said a smart remark, mom got mad, and she drove in the end
-- Stopped off to pick up bug spray and got an Aloe Vera plant as an impulse buy... Named it Aloecard
-- Made up (all of us for various reasons) along the drive home
-- Watched fireworks from our backyard
-- Had some pudding cake and strawberry-topped cake and a bottle of Strawberry Acai Smirnoff
-- Passed out
Lol XD That's pretty much my 4th in a nutshell. X3 As for [yesterday], I went to Chicagoland Paintball with some friends and their friends =3 I'd never done paintball, before, so it was something new. The gun was a bit hefty, but not so much I couldn't lift it. My first time out, I got hit in the top of the head... We were required to wear masks, but it didn't cover that part. It hurt, but thankfully, it didn't hit the knot on the side of my head... Since I never figured out what it was, I don't know what would've happened if it got hit, but it (the knot I've had for about a half year) still hurts on its own from time to time. But I was the first one hit in the first round XD Prolly cuz I didn't know what to expect. We're supposed to raise out hands and walk off the field when we're hit. This was indoors, btw. The second round, I hung back a little rather than trying to move in closer from the get go. Yes, I was hiding behind the bunker the first time, but I was trying to aim my gun while shooting and got hit. But the second time out, I managed to last until our team won~ Third time, I lasted, but got hit in the mask. It exploded. XD; The last round I went out on I was actually the last person on my team standing and I was against two fromt he other team. I almost would've made it, too. It would be nice if they had a target range for practice with aiming. But it's more of a "jump in the game" sort of thing X3
We went to a Chinese Buffet afterwards. I got some sushi and various other things. I think the ones I liked most was the one with shrimp and another that seemed like sesame terriyaki, but I'm not sure what kind of fish was on it. Thankfully, I'm not allergic to any typed of food, as far as a I know. My fortune said I'd be attending a lot of parties and getherings XD; Not that I don't like my friends, but I've been semi-solitary (the exception is family) for so long that it feels awkward. I've always been shy, anyway, but it feels a bit like I've lost my grasp on basic human communication... I kinda felt like I was a bother... "orz If I could just type out everything in public, that might be easier =^v^;=
They had gotten a new dog D= They have so many pets...! Three dogs, three cats, and a gerbil, I think. But the one cat I hadn't met came over to me and was sooo cuddly~! X3 I'd never had a cat be so close and affectionate before, I was touched =;u;= And I finally worked up the courage to pet the fat kitty that's always there X3 He's an angry-looking cat... Or rather, it's like he's lost his dignity and he despises many people XD But he's not violent or anything, he just sits there and glares XD The third cat... she's always hiding and doesn't come around visitors, really. She's frightfully shy XD
I want a pet so bad =;_;= My mom's allergic to cats, so a dog is really the only option, and my dad is predjudiced against small dogs, especially chihuahuas... He thinks they looks like rats. *sigh* All his tastes are standard... Labs, Golden Retrievers, German Shepards, etc. Our last [and only] dog was a mixture between a collie and a chow chow, and she was a beautiful and great dog =;_;= I miss her so much, even though it's been 10 years since she got sick and had to be put down... *sniffles* I can't expect us to get a pet, though. Whether or not we can support one financially, something always comes up and interferes. *shrugs*
