I'm doing a few things today to get ready for Friday-Sunday's convention. I'm going to be making a Ralts hat to wear for Friday =3 Also, I'm going to be doing a dry-run to make sure the route I set up will get me to the location easily enough. I'm nervous because in addition to this being my first convention, I rarely get out on my own, so it means I'll be getting myself there and back by myself, as well as wandering around alone. It might be nice to walk around the con with a friend, but the friends I know well enough that are going to be there are in Artist's Alley *shrugeth* Also, even though what I have to do is simple enough, I'm still a part of the con event =^_^;= So many things to be nervous and/or excited about. Heck, I don't even know where I'd end up beginning D=> Darn, I should've found a veteran who was going and able to walk around X3 Then again, maybe this is a chance to be more adventurous ='w';= *exhales*
At any rate, I'm EXTREMELY NERVOUS! XD; I have to make sure to wash my "ralts outift" tomorrow, too... I hope it's where I think it is, otherwise I'll have to go on a hunt =o_o;= ... Maybe I'll make sure I find it tonight... But I think after I've been to this con, I might go into the artist's alley next year =3 That would be another first =3
And OMG, I totally want to buy one of these and fly it around at a con X3
People'd probably also want to fly it XD If I got two, there could be a fish race~! X3
Oh boy ='w';= Well, at least I have a hat pattern to make my hat. Only thing is, I'll have to improvise the horns on it, but I think I can do it. =3 So I'll be quite busy this weekend. I might end up exhausted, too =>u>;= But it'll be a good experience. I'm not going to be staying in a hotel since the con's close enough to drive to in about 40 minutes. Although thinking about being a little sleepy at the end of the day, it might've been better to book a room. However, I'm not prepared for that, so I'll do it the way I originally intended. My mom would worry about me even more if I stayed overnight =^^;= Plus, I'll save on food costs, at least for breakfast =P
Well, I've rambled enough X3; I'm still wondering what it'll be like, though ='w';= *fidgets* But, I'll find out tomorrow =;u;= Ja ne~!
