Whoops, sorry for the extremely long wait! =^^;;;= I started typing this post two days ago, but my computer was glitching and needed to be restart, so lost what I typed then. =o3o;=
But yes, Ramencon was loads of fun X3 I was nervous going because:
A) 'Twas my first ever con
2) Was driving myself there and
III) Was a part of a con event
XD Yes, I was nervous about driving myself only because I was worried I wouldn't find the turnoff. But I managed to find it and get there a'okay X3 And the event I was part of was a Murder Mystery X3 I was one of the suspects. In the end, it indeed was I and other guy whodunnit X3
Some of the guests there were Robert Axelrod (original voice of Zed), Samantha Inoue-Harte (voice of chocobos and monsters and cacutars in Final Fantasty anime X3), Travis Willingham (Roy Mustang, himself X33 [TINY MINISKIRTS! XDD]), and Troy Baker (musician, voice actor [FMA's Archer, Brotherhood's Greed, and Trinity Blood's Abel Nightroad =eue=]). Also the musical talent they had was Arc Impulse (AWESOME band X3) and The Pillowcases (A The Pillows coverband =3)
Oh gosh, there's too much to even go over and I'm so fried XD; Mostly because I've been getting less sleep... and the reason for that is... I met a guy at the con X3 He was another one of the suspects in the murder mystery, and a friend of my friend, Koji. X3 He was dressed as Alucard (Hellsing) for the con, which was cool in my book X3 I'm going to try to go over a general play-by-play, tho of what went down at the con X3
I went to bingo the first day. Didn't win anything, tho. I was pretty darn
close in the last round, but someone beat me to it =o~o= After that, went to the concert with Arc Impulse who played mostly video game song covers (rather
awesomely, I might add) X3 The Pillowcases were also very good =3 They were playing a bunch of FLCL songs X3 Although they didn't play "Our Love and Peace..." That's one of my favorite Pillows' songs. And they played a song from Scott Pilgrim versus the World, which I now liek~ Still need to see the movie, tho =o3o=
After the concert, went to "Name that Anime Tune" where they would play a song, and you would have to guess which anime it was from X3 I guessed 3 out loud, but knew more than that. My reflexes weren't quick enough XD; Next panel was "Have you Seen my Stapler" which was a book binding course =3 Pretty interesting X3 After this, went to the panel to meet Samantha. I wasn't originally gonna go, but something told me to. And I'm glad I did XD She's HILARIOUS! XD; And her voice is one of those voices where you'd think she was faking it, but she spoke like that the whole time XD Which is cool, and it's fun to do Samantha impressions X3 At the end, got her autograph. X3 She wrote "YOU KILLED HIM!!" next to it XD; (Since I was a suspect XD) I found that funny because I knew it was me in the end XD Although I didn't get a picture because I wasn't thinking to take out my camera DX> *is dummy* After that, last thing I did on that day was karaoke with Kco X3 KCo is what my two friends call themselves as a pair, lolz. They're a hoot X3 I only got to sing once and then my mom called Koji's phone asking for me (my phone was silenced). She wanted me home. Was upset =/
Okay, second day! XD I went dressed as, as I call it, the Poker Fairy X3. It's really a spin-off of a maid outfit, only with cards and frills. (Kinda a fetish costume XD;) Wanted to get there early for bingo, but it was at 9, so there wasn't any way I would make it. But I at least wanted to do ParaPara (a dance thing). Didn't make it in time for the beginning, but sat in for a little bit. Since I came in late, I didn't want to participate =^^;= I left early to go to the Axelrod panel, just because there was nothing else to do at the time X3 But it was interesting. He's kinda cool, plus we got to watch footage of the original Power Rangers where Lord Zed was involved xD That was funny. I didn't get his autograph because I stepped out to go to the bathroom early, but the line for the Travis Meet was already forming D= So I got in line =^^;= He... is... HILARIOUS! XD Like a voice actor equivalent of Dane Cook XD They even sound similar X3 He knows nothing about pokemon outside of Pikachu and when someone asked him what his favorite was he said "Uhh... which one is YOUR favorite...?" The girl said "Lucario" and Travis was like, "Yes, that thing! Lucario! Love the color combination on him. He's my favorite... Him and Rumpelpluff" XDD Lmao XD
We had to take tickets to get his autograph, but it didn't look like he was going to get everyone in the time he had for the panel (I was number 99...) They said since there was an open space in another panel room, he'd continue there later. So I decided to leave for a little bit to have a bathroom break (since I didn't go before XD;) Sat around for a bit then went to get back in line for the Troy Baker Meet. Alucard popped up while I was waiting. I didn't
really know him too well at the time, so we didn't talk too much. He was talking to the girl behind me. So after standing around for a bit, the line finally started moving. I went in after taking another ticket and found a place to sit. However, there were people going down the same aisle, but they wanted to get past, so I leaned back to let them pass. Alucard was standing there looking at me and I wondered if he wanted to get past, too. So I made a "go ahead" motion with my head and he started moving, but instead of going past, sat right down in the seat next to me, which I wasn't expecting X3; It was really close and I was like "Wait, wait...?! =@v@;=" I'm not used to people getting so close to me when I barely know them X3 Although it wasn't bad because we started talking some then. At one point, he asked for a hug and I was like "Umm..." X3; I'm pretty shy about my personal space, but I let him
have a hug anyway X3 I needs hugs too =>w<= Although I was a little upset that
he talked quite a bit during the panel... =o3o;= I wanted to listen to Troy, even if I didn't know who he was to begin with. It was a learning opportunity. Also, there were these twittery fangirls in the row behind us who wouldn't stop talking EVEN MORE! D=< Especially during Troy's musical performance. That's when you should REALLY be quiet >=| And Alucard turned around and was talking to them and I just sat there stiff trying to focus.
*sighs* I walked out of the middle of the performance for another bathroom break (I wasn't eating much during the con and drinking a lot of liquid...) And took the opportunity to get something to eat, since I was probably going to pass out if I didn't. Went back the Sanzaki Kojika booth and ate chicken ramen. Luffy (the other member of Kco, but I'll just call her Luffy, cuz I forgot her nickname XD;) mention the Troy signing and I had remembered about it, so we went together and were talking while waiting. Showed the first 4 pages of Fear to Love and she liked them X3 I managed to get Troy's autograph and a pic with him. There's an accidental video clip because I forgot to switch modes XD;;
Spent a majority of time back at Sanzaki Kojika showing Luffy the rest of Fear to Love X3 She was laughing so much, her face turned red X33 I felt happy to hear someone's reaction in person on it X3 So I'm considering continuing it from where I left off, since it's closer to being done than anything else =3 Mentioned something about a Burger in Paradise XD Laughed about that and talked about my high school's bouncing burgers (those things were great X3) I had wanted to go to the masquerade, so I went out to the truck and brought back the mask I bought. It looked great... however it squeezed my eyeballs... orz Also, I was worried I looked weird with my eyes like that... *fail* If the elastic were looser, it might've been alright... Well, I mentioned that I wanted to go to the ball, but I was nervous about going over. Alucard offered to walk me over and I accepted. Peeked inside and saw Arc Impulse performing again. Went to the back door and noticed there were some chairs. I asked Alucard if he wanted to come in too, and he said sure. So we sat there and watched everyone dance while listening to the band play. We talked a bit and he gave me another hug. I don't remember what I'd said at one point, but it was apparently cute, so he pet me on the head... That's one of my weaknesses... =///= He noticed that I was enjoying it and asked "Do you like to be pet?" and admitted yes, but then said he should probably stop. He did, but after a few moments of silence, I was like "Okay, pet me some more" XD So he did and next thing I know, I'm relaxed and cuddled up to him while he's gently stroking my hair, which was just really relaxing... =//u//= I'm feeling relaxed just thinking about it. Then our hands ended up touching and we laced our fingers together... >///< It was, like, out of nowhere and I don't even know why I was letting down my guard so much =^^;= But I guess maybe it was being relaxed from the head petting? Well, we just sat there all snug until the next band had finished playing.
Karaoke was the last thing that night, too. Went I went to sing, tho, I couldn't read the lyrics because the projector was out of focus. And my voice was strained from trying to talk over music so my voice cracked. =>.<= But just sat close to Alucard for the time, but I was nervous because our other friends were there and I wasn't sure if I was going to get teased or not X3; We managed to exchange phone numbers, tho =3 For the second time, I got a phone call from home. Went to call back and mom made a Cinderella reference about the clock striking midnight. Again, I had only sung one song and I thought she was going to let me stay later that time because I said I was going to be late. But she said she couldn't sleep while I was out and she needed to be somewhere in the morning. *sigh* Went back in to grab my stuff and let my friends know I was leaving. Alucard walked me to my truck and when we got there and I put my stuff in, we were standing close. He put his finger on my chin to pull my face to his... but I chickened out at the last second and turned my face XD; I'm not used to moving so quickly, especially when I don't know the person well. Even though it would've been a romantic setting... X3; But I told him I wasn't quite ready for that... I sat on my trucks seat and we were talking a bit and before I left, he had tried again to kiss me, but I turned my head, so he just gave me a kiss on the cheek instead =^//^=
The third day, I dressed up in black and white (white skirt shoes & headband, black shirt and tights) with a batman cape X3 I called it "Monochrome Batfan" XDD Went to "The Missing Parents of Anime" (Basically talking about every situation where the protagonist can get away with what he wants because his/her parents aren't around or just plain awful parents XD;) where Alucard (now wearing normal clothes) was sitting in the back row. Immediately, he put his arm around me and pulled me close. X3 And tried to kiss me again X3; We went over to the last bit of the "Chopstick Challenge" where people try to manipulate building materials and make something using only the chopsticks to move them. Wanted to go to my friend's (Ranefea) panel, but it got cancelled =/ *sadness* So went to the AMV showing, which was quite entertaining X3 After that, the Awards Ceremony was up and that's where we had to get back up on stage and they stated the evidence against us. In the end, I and another guy I never had much opportunity to talk to, were accused X3 We got dragged off the stage by Death, who was in fact the guy who got killed in the first place XD
After that, there wasn't anything else to do but walk around. So Alucard and I strolled around the outside of the hotel and he got a phone call from his mom. When he got off the phone, we were coming up to an alternate entrance. He stopped, so I stopped, too. And he asked if he could kiss me. Of course, my face was probably turning red as I spluttered. He was like "C'mon, just a small one?" So I thought "screw it!" and leaned in giving him a small kiss. I liked it because his lips are very soft X3 *is hit* But I pulled away before it got deeper, because I was embarrassed enough XD; So we went back into the hotel and sat down in the lobby. Eventually ended up kissing more and just talking X3 And then... his mom and grandmother came around he corner. And I had that "deer in the headlights" sort of feeling. XD; Inside my mind I was all "Oh crap! Oh crap!" But I just sat there and acted natural X3; Introduced myself and we all sat there and talked. Got through it pretty well as later, Alucard said his mom wouldn't be averse to having me over for a visit. Oh yeah... there was a catch to meeting this guy... He lives a 6-hour drive away =( So, yes, long distance =;.;= However, we've been keeping contact every day since the con =^_^= Turns out, we actually have quite a lot in common =3
So I'm really glad I went because I had loads of fun and Unexpectedly met Alucard =^_^= *big cheesy grin* we're both trying to think of excuses to see one another as soon as possible. But we will be going to Youmacon in November =3 However... Two months away =( I'd go there, myself, if my mom wasn't worried about many factors here... And the main reason he can't come here is because she wouldn't let him stay in our house and he wouldn't know of anywhere else to stay =( *uber sadness and sighs*
