I got a surprise in the mail today, actually. Someone sent me a bouquet of fresh flowers in a vase. They're lilies and irises. They're all closed, so they'll take some time to open up, but I really wasn't expecting something like this D= The guy who sent them was a guy I almost got together with, but he made a big mistake and I hadn't fully forgiven him for it. Like, we'd started talking again a few years back, again, but I'd put the thought of romantic possibility off the table. And there was a card that came with it that said:
"I made a mistake once before, and I don't intend to make the same mistake again... and I can't keep it to myself anymore. I think about you all the time. You are intelligent, talented, and beautiful. I don't expect you to feel the same way, so please enjoy these with no strings attached."
I was like... speechless... =o_o= Just like... I don't even know... *sighs* At the very least, I'm going to try to hang out with him and see what happens. *nods* I just have a worry in the back of my mind, is all.
With that said, I've been working at my new job and it's been nice =3 I got to do live register duty for the first time yesterday and I handled it alright, I think. I haven't been getting very many hours, though, and I guess it's because they hired a lot of people? Well, I'll continue to work as I'm scheduled. Tomorrow is a special discount day for employees~ Bye paycheck XD;
Also, my left eye has been red/pink since Sunday. I didn't really think it was pinkeye because it wasn't itchy. It just kinda throbs every so often. I don't remember bumping it, either. Well, mom gave me some drops meant for pinkeye, but it started itching after I applied them. Dunno what that means. At any rate, I hope it heals up quickly. I don't want to scare away customers or anything... =>_>;=
Annnnnd~ I ordered some things with some of the money I got. Just, I guess a congratulations to myself on the job XD; I got some new slippers ( my old ones were flat and absorbing too much foot stank xD; ) and 4 games. Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded, The World Ends with You, Persona 4, and Persona 2 PSP. I probably don't need them right now, buuuuut, I wanted them XD
