Thank you for your pretty offering, Indi-Cat. ;p
'Lo, mortal! Thou hath stumbled unto the realm of Ceiling Cat. Fear not, for she is merciful. Flee not, for she is kind. But know that if thou put forth thy foot into tomfoolery, thou shalt be Judged, and it shall be good. (For me. ;p)
But in all seriousness, this is my blog. I'm Kei, one of the News Editors for the site. I don't bite (hard), so don't be afraid to approach me. I'm actually quite tame.

I've been noticing an odd trend (but most especially today). There's been a small outbreak of instances with members calling others names that go way beyond the tolerable unwritten play limit we have at theO.
I want to come out and say that it's really not cool and if I see it on my watch (as I'm sure will be the same with my fellow Mods), it will be handled swiftly and with appropriate severity.
TheO's chatroom is a place where everyone comes to have fun. Yes, it can be insane and trying at times, but it is a generally light-hearted atmosphere. Anyway vulgarity or hate-slurs of any kind (whether stated in jest or not) are not tolerated. You can find similar statements in the ToS.
It's not cool. Knock it off.
It's been so weird not being on all day... I miss you guys. T^T
But anyway, things have been good. All the kids are doing well and they seem to have fully accepted me and whatnot, so it's a good thing. We all have a lot of fun. :3
Recently, I've been getting back into Pokémon (to the point where I'm actually becoming a bit of a Breeder. >>; ). But I Was thinking that maybe those of us that have Pokémon Diamond/Pearl could get together and have some battles and whatnot. Of course, we'd have to coordinate things a bit due to time differences, but I think it could be fun.
What say you guys? If it works out, I can post a World for it and whatnot so it can actually be a little club, lol.
So.
I had my first full official day of work today. It was actually a lot of fun.
The class I work with is actually kinda small. Only about 10 kids. A lot of them are what they call "high-activity" children, which means that they function a lot like normal ability children, but there are a few low-activity ones. But they're all really sweet kids in general. They've very well-behaved and have good personalities. There's one named Timothy that took a shine to me; he won't let anyone else help him with his work but me. It's cute. ^^
I think it's a fairly nifty job I happened into. Maybe if I get enough experience and look in the right places, I may be able to start studying to become a special education teacher. It seems like something I might really like.
Yes, I've decided to give in and start doing these sort of posts, since I'm watching a lot more anime recently. Mine is a bit different from what I'm reading, since I'm giving a (random thought-filled) synopsis as well as after thoughts. All the s...

So.
I finally got around making a MyAnimeList account, which can be viewed here.
I didn't realize how much (or how little, depending on your take) I've watched during my anime career.
*headdesk*
(I really need to find a way to snazzify that page up a little. Methinks it needs MOAR GURREN LAGANN. Or something.)
Also, I'm thinking about starting up a My Week in Anime post thingy like many others are doing, since I'm actually really watching anime again. It's a thought, anyway.
