Thank you for your pretty offering, Indi-Cat. ;p

'Lo, mortal! Thou hath stumbled unto the realm of Ceiling Cat. Fear not, for she is merciful. Flee not, for she is kind. But know that if thou put forth thy foot into tomfoolery, thou shalt be Judged, and it shall be good. (For me. ;p)

But in all seriousness, this is my blog. I'm Kei, one of the News Editors for the site. I don't bite (hard), so don't be afraid to approach me. I'm actually quite tame.

MAL | K.R. Loves Anime

FINALLY

Sorry, but this is a brief fangirl moment.

FINALLY, JOE FRIGGIN' HIGASHI HAS COME BACK TO KOF!!!

It is seriously about goddamn time. He hasn't been present since 2003, I think.

Thank you, SNK.

Oh, and if you don't put Mai in the console release of KOF XII, I will kill every member of your exec board. Because I need some Super Deadly Ninja Bees in there somewhere. Seriously.

All-Call Update

All righty. It seems like there's a lot of you that are actually interested in taking this on in some capacity. Which makes me insanely happy. ^^

I was thinking that we could all get together in the chat sometime after the holidays so we can "sit" and discuss what exactly this hare-brained scheme is all about. I'm thinking something along 9 p.m. EST on Monday, January 5 as of right now (though I know there may be some of you that have school starting back up on that day). Whether that's doable or not, please comment here so I know whether or not to reschedule.

Look forward to speaking with all of you! ^^

List of Ye Olde Christmas Swag

Well, that was one of the most interesting Christmases that I've had in a very long time. I saw a lot of family that I haven't seen in a good many years on my father's side, so that was wonderful. Of course, I got presents too. Let's see...

  • Sleepwear
  • Socks (that are actually dang nifty and sparkly and I like them much)
  • Leg warmers (!!!! :D)
  • A Winter Gear set
  • Monies
  • Lots of activewear (so very very needed)

And that's about it. It's been a lot of fun and next is New Year's, so that should be cool. What are you all doing?

Calling All Writers/Journalists

So.

A few of you may know that I've been considering starting up a news web site that's independent of both theO and OtakuBoards. Well, I'm actually planning this out now and since the original idea was to get people involved in this that are from theO and OB, but want to do something that's not necessarily all about the fandom, I decided to put an all-call up here.

This is basically just to see who all here is interested. For those of you that know people that don't read my blog, pass the word along and tell them to comment here. Depending on the number, I'll probably set up a chat where we can all get together and start brainstorming everything we want to do. :) (I'll also be putting up another all-call on OB once this phase is done.)

So, yeah. If you're interested, comment away.

Huzzah!

I finally managed to get the Wi-Fi connection to work on my DS here at home. It's good stuff. ^^ The only thing I have right now that's really Wi-Fi compatible is Pokémon Pearl, though... Anyone wanna have a battle? lol

(I'll probably be looking into other Wi-Fi games once I start getting an income.)

EDIT: Okay, WTF is this?

Eddie Murphy playing The Riddler? Seriously?

Don't get me wrong here. Despite the recent downturn of his career, Eddie Murphy is a decent actor. But The Riddler requires a level of detail to his character that I don't think Murphy can portray. He's a conndrum in and of himself. A enigma of a man who loves enigmas themselves. And while he has that level of snark to him, Murphy is typecast a lot for his tendency to overact some scenes (hence why people thought Jim Carrey made for a good Riddler back in the day). A lot of people think that he's one of the more comical villains due to his outside nature, but there's really a lot to him. I'm leary of this news.

As far as LaBeouf goes... I'm starting to get tired of the man. He's been overcast in almost every summer blockbuster for entirely too many years (has it been two or three now? I don't even know). Every time you turn around, it seems like Shia LaBeouf's in another movie with some big name actor. And he's always cast as the bumbling teen hero (I don't know how he did in Disturbia, I haven't seen it). He was like that in Constantine, he was like that in Transformers...Hell, he was like that in Even Stevens. And he was probably like that in Legend of the Crystal Skull. It's boring. And in Gotham, he'll probably revert back to that, but with MOAR ANGST. It's not really an exciting prospect.

Come on, Chris Nolan. Say it ain't so. D:

EDIT #2: Okay, found this now.

It's good that Alan Horn is so willing to actually let Chris focus more on the story that he wants to tell (because the man is obviously talented), so it seems the rumors everyone has been dishing thus far are baseless. Then again, this is Hollywood and nothing is what it seems. :/

Also, GREEN LANTERN MOVIE. ABOUT FSKING TIME.
