Book 1: Illusen

Chapter 4: Who, what, when, where, and why?
I wasn't even thinking about school until Monday! Four whole months worth of home work, reading in textbooks, and not to menchine a-lot of zeros I had to make up for in AR and in exploritory! I was up all night catching up to all of the rest of the four classes I was in! I only got about five days worth finished! I fell asleep drooling on a math page around four in the morning.
"Celeste stand up." demanded my home room teacher,Ms.Burch. I didn't even relize I was in school! Non the less do I remember even waking up in the mornig! Everybody stared and laughed at me. "If you can fall asleep during my class while your sitting down, lets see you fall asleep standing up." continued Ms.Burch. I stood up with my social studies book in my hands. I don't even remember grabbing it.
When I started heading to my locker to switch classes, Mercedes ran over to me. "Celeste I have something important to tell you!" Mercedes said. "Can't it wait Sadies?" I asked. Just then the late bell rang. See you later. but I need to tell you something she said as I walk away. "You'r going to be late" I yell back to her
It is noe twelve, that means, the one thing I've desired for months; lunch. I have been so busy thinking about those dreams and what they meant that I didn't have time to eat at all to day, plus, I was practricly a sleep-walking zombie up until Social Studies! Mercedes came up to me with her tray "Celeste I have the answeres"! "Answeres to what"? I asked eatting some fries. "ANSWERES TO WHAT?!" ANSWERES TO-" Mercedes looked around. "The answeres to the dreams! Mercedes whipsered loudly. "Oh yeahhhhhh!" I said. I was shocked to the fact that I had completely forgotten the strange dreams. "I know this might sound weird but... We're fearies! At first I didn't believe her. but than then I saw that look in her eyes. I got wide- eyed. "I can't tell you everything now because we have to leave."Mercedes said. "But we just got here!" I reminded Mercedes. "Yea but we were last today-it's Tuesday" Mercedes reminded me. "Come to my house after school at four. I have to show you something" . Mercedes said.
School seemed as if it was only a few minutes long. I was half asleep half the time. When I arrived at Mercedes's house, I got a starng feeling...almost as if something evil was watching me;observing my every move. "Come in." said Mercedes's grandma in such an annoyed voice.
Mercedes's grandma isn't one of those grandmas with fun around every corner, witht the home-made sweets, movies, and anything else fun. Oh no! She's a work-o-holic! I've been told that I'm a-lot of fun to be with so I guesse since I'm as fun as a blonde and Mercedes's grandma is a stick in the mud, it kind of makes us not like eachother. I always try to be nice to her but she just won't exept me. Sometimes I wonder how Mercedes doesn't snap on her by the complete unneccessaryness of bringing down the happy vibe her grandma puts apon her. I mean, she lives out in the middle in the country I'ts not like anybody can here her. I guesse she's just use to it.
"Sorry to be a bother. Thank you for letting me come over, Ms.Kelly." I said politely. She just rolled her eyes and said "Yeah Yeah, just get inside already." Mercedes was in the kitchen getting some milk. "Milk?" asked Mercedes holding up a glass of cold milk. "No way! I hate milk! You should know that!" I said in a discussded voice. "You do?" Mercedes said raising her eybrows in shock. "Yeah, unless I drink something cakey or chocolatey." I said. "Oh yeah..." Mercedes said. She had put extra enphasis on the 'eahh' part of the 'yeah'. For two or three minutes all was quiet. Exept for Mercedes's non-stop squawking bird of course. "So uh..... what is it you needed to talk to me about?" I asked as if it was an aquard kind of silence. "Mmm!" Mercedes said finishing up her milk. However, I'm sure she was trying to say 'Oh!'. "Fallow me!" she demanded gasping for air. Mecedes loves milk it's like she a cat or something. Thats why she always chugs it like it's the last sorce of non-toxic drinkable liquid on this planet.
We went outside to sit on her trampoline. As I got on the trampoline, Mercedes went under the trampoline. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Grabbing books." Mercedes replied. "Books?" I whispered to myself. Mercedes got out from under the trampoline, stood up, pulled her pants up, grabbed the books, sat them on the trampoline, pushed them to me, got on the trampoline, sat next to me, and opened a book. The book looked old and dirty. Almost as if it were over a hundred years old. "In this verry book are the answeres. Prepare yourself." Mercedes said in a seriouse voice, "....Theres no ignoring it now....."
