Chapter 6: The explanation
The next day Mercedes suprised me by inviting me to her house again. It wasn't really Mercedes who suprised me. It was her grandma who even let me come over. I guess she can tolerate me somewhat. "Okay,... now lets go to the trampoline and talk." said Mercedes really annoyed and anxious. One again, Mercedes and I grabbed the books, got on the trampoline, sat down criss-cross style, and oppened the books to the same page as before.
"In my dream I saw Amber, the fire fearie. She has one sister; Lia." She said pointing to the Yin-Yang fearie. " Lia can kill somebody just by simply cutting their string. She has plenty of books on everybody in the world. She has when they're supposed to die on record and the Earth's mysteries's answere's in a book that she hides some where." Mercedes said, pointing to Lia.
The Yin-Yang fearie was waering a black and white dress. It was cut at the sides where the thighs are-the dress was made that way. Twords the end of the dress, it had the Yin-Yang sign. On the side of the Yin-Yang sign that was black, the dress was white with a black dot. On the side of the Yin-Yang dress that was white, the dress was black, with a white dot on the opposite end of were the black dot on the other side of the dress was.
"There mom is God. But there dad is the devil. Amber is to take after the devil and Lia is to take after GOD. By the way, GOD's name is Exeona." Mecedes was inturrupted. "WHAT!?" I said in complete shock with my eyes wide open "Don't worry Amber is still on the good guys' team. She just rules over heak and burns people who deserve it. That's why she's the fire fearie." Mercedes said "How do you know all of this?" I said in shock. "It just came to me in a dream I had yesterday. I fell asleep early last night because I got a major head ache so I went to lay down and I fell asleep. There was this big gate infront of me and it opened. I saw the truth. Everything. That's how I found these books. It was a similar dream but instead a fearie told me the way. It was weird, But this is the only one we need." She said calmly."Judging by the discription of the fearie from your dream, Celeste, I've got to say it was Illusen, the earth fearie. She has one sister named Sunara." She said pointing to the fearie I saw in my dream. Her cloths were different and she was taller.
She still had the same colored hair and eyes. She had a short dress on that split up at the ends and went to her knees in the front and to her calf in the back, her wings were pointed and yellow, she had red hair in a pony tail with ribbons in it, The torso part of her dress was bejewled at the bust part. She also wore an ankle bracelet on her right ankle.
Mercedes turned the page. "This is-" I once again inturrupted Mercedes. "...Illuara..." I said. "Yeah... How did you-" Mercedes began "Remember yesterday when I fell asleep? You said '...A trance. Celeste! Don't fight it, Celeste! Let it through!' " I said. "Yeah." said Mercedes. I told Merceds about the 'trance'. "So cool!" Mercedes said as if I was a band and she was some stuck up school girl. "Anyway, Amber was born October 31st, twelve a.m. on the dot. Lia was born December 25th twelve a.m. on the dot. Sunara was born on summer's equinox right on the dot and Illusen was born in fall's equinox right on the dot. Illuara is over twenty thousand years old. Before you say 'DAAAAAANG!' in fearie years thats only two hundred years old compared to human years. Amber, Illusen, Lia, and Sunara are all one thousand six hundred years old. Thats only sixteen in human years." Mercedes explained. "Oh.... I knew that." I said. "Riiiiiiight." Mercedes said. "We're all considered Goddesses because Jhudora, The Darkest fearie, killed all of the fearies exept for us." Mercedes said. "Why is she the darkest fearie?" I asked. "Because she killed all of the other dark fearies, elemental fearies, and regular fearies." She said hapily. "Oh. Now I know why you saw the devil's daughter. AKA the fire fearie." I aid creeped out. Mercedes laughed. I got wide -eyed. "............ No comment." I said. Mercedes laughed again.
Mercedes closed the book. "Fallow me." She said jumping off the trampoline. "I have absolutly no clue why but I'm craving milk." I said. "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you; Illusen and Amber are within us and they are also part cat." She said sweetly as if it were perfectly normal. "Why can't I have a normal life?" I said looking up to the sky. "Were are we going?" I asked. "We're going passed the bushes at the end of the field." Mercedes said. "But were not aloud over there." I said. "I know. but you act like my nanna cares enough about you to make sure you don't get hurt and seeing how you'r with me she wont be paying of any attention." Merceds said walking along the fence of the field like it's a normal thing to say. I stopped. "Ouch." I said frowning. "Yeah well the truth hurts but at least the truth will let us find out more." Mercedes said walking on without me. "True." I said catching up to her. "Here we are." Mercedes said. She grabbed a branch from the burn pile behind her and moved the thorn filled vines from the fence so we could climb it. As we climbed I noticed something. I did it all in one try and without being afraid. I'm terribly afraid of hights and I'm a cluts! "hat's going on with me?" I said in my mind. As I jumped down I did it with no fear and landed on my feet in a sitting like position; as if I were pretending to be a frog but with my left hand still on the fence and my right hand in between my feet. "What is wrong with me?" I asked again, "Why am I taking these strange ninja-cat like features?"
We aproched a well made of granite and cement. My eyes began to shake and glissen. "Wow! a real 17th centry well! How often do you see one of these babies in this time?" I said completely amazed. I've always been into artifacts and history. Merceds rolled her eyes and sighed. The second I touched the well, I began to float into the air. I felt as light as a feather. I saw little fire flies foating around em and changing my cloths. My eyes were half open... Just like my first dream. I closed my eyes. fo I was at peace. I slowly fell to the ground as if I was being ently let go to the ground. I was finaly re-awoken. "Celeste? Are you okay?! What happened to you?" A girl with blonde hair said stepping back in fear. I oppened my eyes and said in a seirouse voice; "My name is Illusen Hamiaki".
