Working Girl

So since Monday I've finally been back to work cleaning some of the bathrooms at my local county fair up here in WA. I'll tell you now that it does not rain up here as much as people have been led to believe; in fact, it has been very hot the past two weeks. Monday, I got home feeling sick because I didn't drink as much as I should have. Tuesday and Wednesday I did a little better. And on Wednesday I went to the Breast Cancer Awareness booth and bought two wonderful neckerchiefs that you soak in water and gel packs sewn inside swell up. Then you stick them in the freezer and you can tie them around your neck and it feels sooooo niiiice. I alternated wearing both of them today and it was amazing; I felt so much better and even my shift seemed to go by faster. Still have Friday and Saturday to go and supposedly they'll be even hotter and busier. Also today was good because the guy that's my partner and does the mens' bathrooms while I do the womens' bought me proffertjes, which are the Dutch version of fried doughnut holes served with powdered sugar and a bit of whipped cream to dip them in, so yummy. Very kind of him; he's quite a cool guy. And every day so far he's bought something tie-dyed; he likes tie-dye.

Haven't been watching much anime; I'm almost too tired when I get home. And next week I start a regular job at a chocolate factory which is highly unlikely to be run or owned by a whimiscal candymaker. I am not in the least like an OompaLoompa.
