One of your Ocs with one of mine
Hey, yall! It's been quite some time since I've updated on here, hasn't it? I typically don't have the option to make a post due to TheO not working that well with devices I normally use. The advertisements on here have slowed my tablet and phone down to the point I can't post in my world and barely post art. I wonder why it's been so bad for the past two years or so? Does anyone else have this issue?
Onto a life update: First of all I'd like to thank everyone who even reads my posts and checks out my world. It's hard to believe there have been over 3,500 views since I created this world. Thank you, everyone! I love and miss you all!
Things have been super busy over here. I finally got around to updating my introduction, and as you can see my fiance and I finally got married. We wed on December 11, 2015; and it was a small quick wedding with our two best friends at the time. We tried for the 12th seeing a that is our dating anniversary, but the JOP was closed on the weekend. Though it was small and quick, it was perfect. The four of us spent the day in New Orleans, La where I'm from and had a great time.
My husband and I moved out to Texas a few months before we married due to work, and as of March of this year we moved back to Mississippi. His job in Texas ended, so we made the decision to move back where most of our family and all of our friends are. I hate this little town, but it's where we know people. We were staying at a friend's house until we could get back on our feet, and a month ago we moved into our new apartment. (moving, moving, moving, X.X)
My husband now works at the local jail and is trying to find a better paying job (he misses working as an electrician); while I'm working at Popeyes as a manager. Let me say I never wanted to go back to working fast food. I am burned out on it, and I really wanted something new. Unfortunately fast food is what I have the most experience in, so here I am. Honestly, my job isn't that bad. It's incredibly tiring since I typically work 9 days straight at a time, but it's a decent paying job. I like everyone I work with, and all four of us managers work as a team.
I'm hoping in a few years if my husband can get back to working construction or even shut downs, I can stop working all together and focus more on my art and writing. I'm still trying to work on my novel Ends. It's been ~5 years, but I refuse to let it go. I love my story, and one day I will have it published. My goal in life is to have a job I enjoy and have my own work in my hands. Do I really think I will ever "get big" on my book? No, but nothing will stop me from trying! :D
