This is my world where I sporadically post about things that happen in my life, surveys, and extremely random things. And oh, I do mean sporadically.
My name is Kasa (well, not really, but it's been my nickname here for so long that it's basically become a part of my identity haha. I also go by Aly, but you can call me whatever you want), I'm 23, and I'm a first year in graduate school studying school psychology.
I tend to hyperfixate on things for long periods of time and then wholly forget about them, and I dabble in the arts of video editing and occasionally drawing and writing.
I'm super lame and kind of unsociable, but if you can look past that, maybe we can be friends?

IT'S A TRUE STORY.
I. HATE. SHORT SHORTS THURSDAY. D:

Whoa. Has it really been a month since i posted? D:
Time flies, man. Time flies.
Sooooo um not much has been happening. I'm pretty stressed out from marching band and all of the homework i've been given but i'm slowly figuring out how to deal with it.
LIKE RIGHT NOW I'M SUPPOSED TO BE FINISHING UP READING TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD AND WRITING A PAPER ON IT. And then i need to finish my Driver's Ed homework. ;w;
BUT. I HAVE NEWS.
OUR MARCHING BAND ACTUALLY WON SOMETHING YESTERDAY.
Second place out of 9 bands for Auxilary(colorguard)
Eeeeep we were so happy. 8D
And we also got 3rd in drum major for our class, but they only gave out 2nd and 1st place trophies so yeah.
But yaaay it'll be the first(or second, i don't know if cross-country has gotten any trophies) trophy in our school's case. 8D
And it was so cool. One of our county's bands did the "Game On" show with Halo, Mario, and KINGDOM HEARTS.
Yeah. They did Simple and Clean. And they actually did a pretty good job with it toooo.
AND NOW I'M GOING TO TRY TO BUG THE DRUM MAJOR TO LET US DO A GAME THEMED SHOW NEXT YEAR. Do you know how cool that would be?
Anyway. I haven't had much time for drawing and stuff so i don't have anything to show you guys... bwaaaah :/
BUT I DO HAVE AN AMV PREVIEW. 8D -shot-
askljfskldjsdjkj Homecoming is next weekend and i still don't know if i'm going or not. T____T I HAVEN'T EVEN HAD TIME TO GO LOOK AT DRESSES LET ALONE TRY ANY ON.

Yeah. So i survived the first 4 days of my sophmore year/2 rotations of my schedule. AND LET ME SHARE MY THOUGHTS. 8D -shot-
So i think/hope it's going to be a pretty good year.
My core classes are pretty boring so far. The coolest thing i've done so far was in English. We had to make skits about if Frankenstein and his creature met Dr. Phil. And i had to be Dr. Phil. xD; My group's turned out pretty well i guess. It was better than the skit my group in English last year did for Romeo and Juliet, at least. ('Dude. Go die. In a fire.' -later- 'OH NO I'VE BEEN HIT. DARN YOUUUUUUUU, ROMEO AND TYBALT. -dies dramatically-')
And we're doing this experiment designing thing in Biology. I don't know if we'll actually get to do them, but it'll be awesome if we do. My group's experiment was to see if energy drinks/shots affect your ability to perform everyday tasks. 8D The teacher thinks we just want to have energy drinks in class BUT SHE WAS THE ONE WHO SUGGESTED IT.
Algebra II is going to be icky unless everything is gonna be solveable with the graphing calculator. The plus side is that almost everyone in that class is my friend. xD
UGHH. SPANISH III.
I thought i was remembering things well over the summer. But today my Spanish teacher gave our class this worksheet thingy for review AND I DIDN'T KNOW ANY OF THE ANSWERS. D8 Well, i educatedly guessed on 'em so there's a chance i may have gotten some right.. but still. ;w; Apparently i must've only remembered the useless words this summer.
Art is going to be fun. I've never actually taken art outside of elementary school though so i'm going to be terrible at everything we do. D8
Our first assignment was/is to write our names in graffiti on our portfolios. it's so hard. ;w; Thankfully i got to outlining mine and next class i'll just have to color. OH AND I EVEN ADDED A LITTLE CHIBI ME AT THE BOTTOM WHO IS SUPPOSED TO BE SPRAYING THE PAINT. The teacher said it was cute. :D
I'm scared of P.E. I'm still soooooooo out of shape. 'Operation : Get Fit!' did not happen AT ALL this summer. -sob-
That and i have it EVERY FREAKING DAY. Right before lunch. D:
But at least Drivers Ed is 3/5 days of the week until December so hopefully it won't be too bad.~
Oh. And Band is just band.
ANYWAY. This is getting long and I have to... HOLY CRAP I HAVE TO BE AT THE SCHOOL IN LIKE A HALF HOUR TO GET READY FOR THE FOOTBALL GAME.
It's against the school that my new school split from this year, so it's gonna be pretty dang epic. We're gonna win, though.
EDIT: We lost. By 42 points. IT WAS SAD.

Okay so you know how my internet has the unlimited bandwidth thingy at a certain time of night/morning?
Well, last night i was too tired to stay up for that long to watch any full eps of this series i realllly wanna finish before school starts...
So liek, i load up a bunch of episodes and go to bed, figuring i'll watch them in the morning.
BUT I WAKE UP AND COME DOWNSTAIRS AND THE PAGE IS FROZEN. T_____T SEE?
i waited for like a half hour BUT IT DIDN'T UNFREEZE. so i had to close it out 'cause it was screwing with my other windows.
The internet hates me, i swear.
In other news:
OH HEY. IT'S MY BIRTHDAY IN ABOUT THREE WEEKS. Though if you guys don't make me anything i completely understand 'cause i probably didn't make many of y'all anything... ;w;
Also. Fatal Frame is terrifying. But cool. I wouldn't dare play it by myself though. xD; Me and Otaku-chan need to have another sleepover soon 'cause i wanna find out what happens in the fourth one! Just as it was getting good .. my dad showed up to pick me up. -sigh-
Tonight we're having some benefit game at our school and the marching band has to play. Not march, thankfully... BUT I STILL DON'T WANNA GO. We can't even play the freaking Star-Spangled Banner.
