I stared up at the glow in the dark stars sticking to ceiling. For some reason or another I couldn't sleep. I guessed it was because I had a major test coming up. =__=
Suddenly I heard what could only be described as a bang on the front door. I sat up quick. The killer!
"Kaori!" I nearly shouted.
I ran straight to the front door. I couldn't even begin to process the scene I was looking at. The strange guy from before.....covered in blood......and.....
"SIS! This guy has a knife too!!!" I shouted taking in the facts before I could process them. "He's out cold...but he kinda looks like....THE SERIAL KILLER FROM THE FLYERS!!"
"What?!" Kaori shouted back. "Call the police...now!"
I turned and ran inside. The panic running through me caused me to smash the numbers as I dialed the phone. As the police secretary came on the phone, I had to keep from shouting then and there.
"Yes what is your emergency?" the secretary asked.
"HELLO! I NEED HELP! A Serial killer and a nut are in my house!" I yelled into the phone. Great....so not what I was intending.....
After I told the lady the details, and she said she would help, I hung up the phone and tried to calm down my nerves.
"REMU! The first aid kit! Help Haguro-san!" Kaori yelled.
I moved Haguro-san to the couch and stated bandaging his leg. He gave me a strange look, and I just looked down and fixed up his leg.
"You are freaking lucky it's just a cut," I commented. "If it had gone any deeper you would have had muscle and nerve damage, and I can't fix that just yet.....well I can but you wouldn't like the way would fix it."
"Um....." was all Ren was able to say back.
"Now there ya go," I said as I finished. "You should be just fine, but I suggest you update your tetanus shots. Who knows what you could be infected with."
Ren just turned his attention to Sis and stared at her somewhat longingly. A pit of anger went through me, and I punched his leg.
"OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW," he shouted.
I sighed. Soon the police arrvied, and everything seemed to calm down. I was so tired that I just went back to bed.
16 January, 2023
I woke up as normal, but I had a splitting headache. I took two Tylonol and got ready for school. As I got on the train, I noticed Mizawa already seated and patting the seat. As I sat down, she all but had a heart attack.
"REMU! My Remu! Are you ok? I can't believe it! The serial killer at your house! It was all over the news this morning! And you didn't call me, and OMG that man didn't hurt you did he because if he did I'm going after him with a pick ax! And OMG I'm sorry I'm talking so much. You ok?" Mizawa said finally taking a breath.
"I'm fine. I'm fine. I swear," I said trying to calm Mizawa. "I'm living. I'm breathing. It's all ok. I am kinda tired though...."
"You weren't hurt or anything???" Mizawa said looking me over.
"No I wasn't, but this other guy was, so I tied him up," I answered.
"Ohh was he cute?" Mizawa asked.
I laughed at this....I hadn't even though of it.
"Sorry Mizawa I was too worried with my life or death matter," I answered.
"Oh ya heh I'm sorry," Mizawa answered laughing lightly.
All throughout the rest of the day, I was known as 'that girl that the serial killer tried to kill.' God I hate rumors. The physics test turned out to be easy, but the English quiz killed me.
As I got back on the train to go home, I felt a wave of pain run over my lungs. I grabbed at my sides and tried to calm the pulsing in my ribs, but it didn't help. As I got control of my breathing again, I sighed.
"Remu? You ok?" Mizawa asked.
"Ya, it's just some pains or something," I answered. "Probably just from all the excercize I had to do for track...."
"But you don't look too good Remu....." Mizawa said putting her hand on my head. "I hope you don't have a fever or something......maybe you caught something from Kaori-san....."
"I'm fine. I'm fine," I answered back. "Trust me I'm fine....."
