Information Gathering

Shiranui walked through the corridors of the department. She seemed to be very interested with the television set. Fifty people were all killed by heart attacks. Her hypothesis of Kira was correct for the most part. But she knew if there were one Kira there would at least be more.

“Officer-san, I am going to borrow your computer?” Shiranui asked politely. No one answered. Well the reason for that was because she snuck into the office using the maze like vents, from above her head. Shiranui also disabled the cameras with her laptop, so no one would know anyone was in here for a while. She turned on the laptop hearing a little, slight hum from it. With only a second she typed in the right username and password. It was very simple for a hacker after all.

She looks through all the detectives’ files of murders, suicides, victims, and of shameless crimes. They intrigued her in every possible way. Some cases that were never solved were the ones that she took more of a liking to. Shiranui yawned then typed in a code she saw in her sister in law’s brief case. It was a code to open the information of L, or his real name, Lawliet.

After browsing through the files. She found out that Yagami Light, the one who L thought was Kira.
Shiranui read more of the information that was added into this file about a decade ago. Light was a son of an officer named Yagami Soichiro. He was an intellectual person and was always the top of his class.
‘Show off’, Shira thought while she was reading through Light and his records also. She then got bored from it then went back to L’s files.
She skimmed through it, getting the information she wanted then storing it for other uses. Shiranui quickly made a network from the big office space to her small, homey condo. She printed everything she didn’t have time to check, such as about Misa Amane being the second Kira. Shira thought of a nickname for any second Kira she would end up meeting, on her plan of vengeance.
“Sparkle will do”, she said to herself. After everything was printed and went accordingly, Shira obliterated the network and then stood on the desk. She was a shrimp, or what she called herself petite, so she wasn’t able to climb back up to the vents, which she fell soundlessly from, before.

She jumped, dangling like a raggedy Anne Doll from the open lid of the open vent. Voices and footsteps were heard from the outside of the office. Closer and closer those detectives and officers came but Shiranui wasn’t panicking. She was enjoying the adrenaline of how she might be caught in any second.
It felt as if a Chinese gong was being stricken in her heart. Fastly and loudly making a nice beat. Shiranui pulled herself up and closed the lid up. She wasn’t fragile at all even though other people thought so, since she looked very young and not curvy or wide boned, like most people have in the neighborhood. She then traveled through the vents. Maybe this was the only time she appreciated being small.

((Shiranui calls the second Kira, sparkle because she combined the word KiraKira that in English means sparkle. She uses the English word for it. Is it alright if I type my continuation in the third person?))
