Me and Cookie woke early this morning, today would be our first day as host for SAKURA TV... our interveiw had only been yesterday. Everything was going soo fast. We rushed around the house trying to find clothes to wear, Hairties to put our hair up with. While Mother was making us Bento boxes and trying to make sure we looked our best along with getting father ready to watch our FIRST show.
We eventually left our house. Though by some miracle we got to the station Early. As we walked through to the area where i show was being shot we were astounded at the huge space inside the studio. Me and cookie held hands as we stood watching the camera men go to and fro. Everyone was busy with something and they all looked like they were in a hurry.
"AHH there my gorgeous little hosts are!!" in came Hatori wearing i loose fitting kimono. And as always Shigure was following behind in his Suit. Hatori came and looked at us.
"tsk, Tsk. We can't have this, look at your pretty faces... And to think were going to have to cover up your natural beauty... How horrible. Make-up please get our cute little host some make-up so they can look beautiful infront of the cameras!"
We were hurried away to the dressing room, were our make-up was put on. There was a rack of clothing however after looking at our clothing the clothes people decided that we looked fine the way we were and left us.
Hatori then came in a got us back out to introduce us to the other members of the crew.
"Now this Handsome young.. male? is Aayame." a girl in a Kimono bowed to us and spoke gently
"Hatori, i am a female remeber."
"Now now Aayame you are a beautiful Female... but these girls had better know your a male...," he dropped his voice lower and whispered, " After the talk with their father.... well lets just say he scares me.... ALOT."
Me and cookie both laughed as we looked over our shoulders to watch Father crossed arm staring at the set. Mother was close by him but we knew he wasn't happy about us being here.
"HATORI!!!! MY LOVE!!! You haven't been cheating on me have you?" a gentlman with long blonde hair in a ponytail that ran down his back yelled as he leaned against his the camera.
"Why would i Ritsu when i have some one like you?"
"Well its just that i saw you whispering with Aayame..."
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." Aayame repeated over and over again.
They were trually an odd bunch. Ayame was a male in female clothing, and Ritsu had a superiority complex. But they were fun to be around and they all seemed like close friends.
"Now now, lets all settle down. We have a show to do!" with that Aayame and Ritsu returned to their stations behind the cameras, Hatori pushed us onto the stage and told us what we were to do. we didn't really have a script but hatori reassured us we didn't need one.
"Lights Camera..." the dude yelling mouthed action and me and Cookie began with reviving SAKURA TV
"Good MORNING!!! Arisa here," i said
"And Kakuru."
"We are,"
"You hosts here at,"
"SAKURA TV" we both said looking down the camera
"Now to begin we are going to," Cookie said
"read the headlines,"
"that you missed while you were,"
"ASLEEP"
We moved over the the News desk and began to read the promter
"Last night Kentaro Hisaki was run over by a run away white van and was decapitated. The owner of the van said he didn't see Hisaki run out into the road before he hit him." Kakuru began the news
The image flashed up of the white van with the message "So it shall be written so it shall be done" as an interveiw with the driver of the van began
"Beside HIsaki's body the body of Jero Hikari was identified early this moring. Hikari commited suicide by the body of his gangs leader. It is assumed that Hisaki and Hikari were some of the men behind the serial rappings of girls around the local area."
I continued to stare at the image on the screen... there was so much blood. But after hearing the words Serial rappist i decided that they deserved to die. Just like those 50 criminals that had died two nights ago.
"And with other news, the internation Anti-Kira task force is looking towards internationally reclaimed detectives. Their names will not be released to the press, however it is assured they are heading to Japan within the next week to begin their investigation." My voice caught in my throat. Kira was a saviour and yet they wished to hunt him down like he was some wild animal!
"Local police have assured all residents that Kira is not a threat. and peole are to continue on with their lives and........" i paused as on the prompter the words came 'to NOT support the anticts of Kira as he was a murder and nothing more' i couldn't say those words. I just couldn't.. but i also couldn't let this opertunity for Cookie be ruined.
"And to not support kira....." i gulped as i needed to continue on.
"That is all with the headlines you missed while asleep. And after the break Will be chat time. Where me and Kakuru will be interveiwing a make-up artist to the STARS."
The little red light went off on the camera and i looked over to Kakuru. I gave her a thumbs up and she gave me one back
"PERFECT," Hatori came walking up clapping his hands. "Personally i think people should be able to think and do whatever they want. Good choice on missing out those words Arisa and Kakuru, you did FANTASTIC you should think about becoming a newsreporter like that guy... you know the one on that BIG news channel....Just wait what am i thinking you would be WAY better then him."
Hatori continued his flattery and as the next segment came on me and cookie became more comfortable. We sat on the same couch and talked with the next few guests..... This was going to be LOADS of fun!!
