Yep, time to watch The Wizard of Oz again. That's one of those old movies that I can watch over & over.
So... it's a Sunday evening. I'm sitting on my bed goofing on the laptop, charging the iPod, and hoping my feet don't fall asleep. I had today off and have tomorrow off, too. Woohoo!!! Two off in a row!!! Doesn't happen very often.
I got stuck at work again last night. Not because my car wouldn't start, but because of gale force winds outside blowing snow around. There's no way I would drive in blizzard conditions at night. It was bad enough doing it during the daytime! Of course, the temperature has dropped significantly again. I don't think we had a positive number for a high temp today.
Ugh... knees are trying to hurt here. Time to squirm around into a comfortable position again.

Well. The car finally started Wednesday around noon. The husband of one of my coworkers jump-started it and noticed that a battery cable was loose. Then, after I got my jumper cables out of my trunk, the trunk decided it didn't want to latch. Everyone said it was frozen or something, but if that were true, it wouldn't have opened in the first place. No, the little thing that actually does the latching wasn't reaching the thing it latches onto. (I really hope that made sense.) So, today (Thursday) I took the wee white beastie down to the shop to have the cable tightened and the latch adjusted. *sigh* another $22.00 put into the car and it wasn't gas.
Speaking of gas... It actually cost less than $15 for me to fill up the other day! I was so happy.
Well, now it's not quite midnight and I have a bit of a headache. It's snowing outside and I'm starting to wonder if I should have gone into SUX earlier so I was ahead of the storm and able to get to work. Oh, well, I've been stuck at work twice this week already. I want to sleep in my own bed for two nights in a row.
*sigh* Between Windows wanting to restart because of updates and Firefox updating, I think there's a computer conspiracy to get me offline and into bed.

This is a post of all sorts of things. I have a few things to get off my chest.
1. Cold weather sucks. It was incredibly windy and slightly snowy last night, so I got stuck at work overnight because I wasn't about to attempt to drive home with 30 to 40 mile an hour winds and blowing snow. Then this morning when I was about to drive home, my car wouldn't start. My mom had to come and get me, so I could spend my day off at home doing laundry and so on. I also don't think that we reached a positive number for the temperature today.
2. I also need to apologize for not posting and visiting. I have been doing things like that at work whenever possible once I finish off the paperwork and such that I usually do each time I work. Then I will go online and read my own email and visit sites. However, as of late, the little psychotic bitter man I work with had gotten it into his head that he doesn't need to do any of his work and can sit behind the counter and read his email. He has been told several times that he is not to be behind the desk because he is not trained to check people in or anything of that nature. But he is of the opinion that because he's been there "longer than everybody" he doesn't need to do anything if he doesn't want to. He has not been there longer than everybody. Nor is he able to get away with doing nothing. So... I have decided to try to avoid my own personal online ramblings for a while to see if he gets the hint. Unfortunately, I don't truly believe that it is going to work. It would be easier to tell the wind to stop blowing.
3. There was something else on my mind, but it has completely left me by now, so I won't continue to bore any of you that may actually be reading this.

Dang! It's really cold outside! Temperature is in the single digits... BELOW ZERO!!!!!!!! Then add in the wind chill and it really sucks.
I don't know what to do now! Aaaaaaaaggggh!!!!!
I may just pack it up and go upstairs and do one of several things:
a. watch any of a number of videos I've loaded on the iPod
b. play any of a number of games on my DS
c. try to draw
d. try to write
e. sleep
