Lazy-a** post copied from dA!

It's Thursday at last!!! Time to update. Let's see if I can remember what's been going on the past few days...

Sunday: day off. Didn't do anything terribly important.

Monday: had to be to work at 7:00 am. Ick. Started training new girl that's going to get the 7 to 3 shift that I've asked to have twice now. *insert bitter scathing comment here* Got my hair seriously cut after work. I probably had a good 4 or 5 inches cut off. Now I can't really get my hair into a ponytail, which is good 'cuz I was sick of putting it up all the time.

Tuesday: worked 7 to 3 again. Was 'mean' to the new girl and made her do as much of the stuff as possible. There's no better way to learn, right? Had lunch from a little place in SUX that has been there for over 80 years!!!!! I've lived in this area since sometime in 1986 and never had hot dogs from the Milwaukee Wiener House before. I had two Barkers, which are hot dogs with mustard and sauerkraut. Gastrointestinally nasty, yet very very delicious. I have to have them again...

Wednesday: worked 7 to 3 yet again. Didn't have the new girl working with me as she had to be lifeguard at the pool. Actually went straight home after work. In the evening I discovered that I can hook my iPod up to our VCR and actually record from it.

Today: day off. I had two goals for today: sleep until noon and mail some stuff to my parents. Well, I got the stuff mailed off early this afternoon. The 'sleep until noon' part didn't exactly happen. A big thunderstorm rolled through around 7:00. I normally love lying in bed listening to the thunder and the rain on the porch roof outside my window, but today that wasn't an option. There was a really nice loud and long thunderclap that set off my car alarm. So I had to stagger downstairs and find my keys so I could turn the stupid thing off! Then I tried to sleep on the couch until my brother got home from work, so I could help him herd cats. He had to take the pipsqueak to the vets today. Oh... the postmaster said she could hear my car alarm this morning. The post office is about a block away...
