I
silently walked through the cold winter snow with Nanao trailing behind me. The sparkling white snow felt cold on my feet but every time I stepped warmth flooded into my feet and the snow melted. It was still snowing and snow crystals kept landing on my coat and melting. I noticed a small closed in alley way. It would be easier to keep us warm in there. I motioned to move to the alley with my tail and headed in the small space to try and wait out the winter. I curled up in a ball and the snow around me instantly melted and warmth spread throughout my whole body. It felt nice to be warm but I'd rather be freezing than have this cursed power. I heard footsteps and my ear twitched. They came closer. I backed farther down the alley so I could hide my presence.
