I am going to give you 5 journal prompts for the book Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling.
1. If you where Jenny would you have told someone about the diary that could write back instead of keeping it to yourself? Why?
2. If you where Harry do you think you would have been brave enough to face the basilisk all by yourself? Why?
3. Did you think that there was any way to destroy the diary of “Tom Riddle” before you found out how Harry did it? Why?
4. Did you think that Professor Lockheart would actually try to use Ronald’s broken wand to try to cast a spell? Why?
5. Did you think that the phoenix would have anything to do with Harry being able to defeat the basilisk? Why?

If I had to give one pet to the character in my book, I would give my dog Jack to Hagrid. The reason I would give hom to Hagrid is because I think Hagrid could use another dog to have as a companion. Fang, Hagrids current dog is a really huge scardy cat!!! Jack is not afraid of anything. Plus I think that Fang could use a play mate!!! I think all of the kids at Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizardry would love to play with Jack, he is a very friendly and lovable dog!
