I was in NEW YORK FOR CHUSEOK FESTIVAL.

I just got back from that shit....
even though i was one of the only white people there, i was able to set off a chorus of BEAST fans while we were waiting for the bus ride to get out of Randall's Island Park. (proud of myself)
but OMG THE TROT WAS SUPER FUCKING AMAZING.
i'll be uploading the shitty cellphone videos and picures i took soon enough. Son Dambi was there btw.
Pretty cool, plus we got to watch drunken koreans running and stumbling all over the place. Thats always fun.

NAMES...

Changed the name of one of my characters in an upcoming manga that pics are already in my gallery for.( AGAIN?! D<)
Well, maybe I should call it a manhwa...
Anyway, he had black hair and tan skin, and his name was Ja Kwang-Sun, But i'm changing it.
His name will be Sang-Ik, I haven't decided on surname quite yet...
just wanted to put that down so those who read this will know, and i won't forget. i also made a cover for the manhwa! i need a name for one of the other characters though...

an amazing discovery at work...

Guess what guys? I found liquid GOLD while on break from my job today.
Well, not literal gold, but it was pretty awesome anyways.
I work at Spirit Halloween, and they force you to take half hour breaks every 6 hours you work, so i walked up to the mall with my friend Chris to visit a tiny Bubble Tea And Smoothie Shack stand that had caught my eye for a long while.
There appeared to be a grey milkshake on display of the menu.

It was called a Taro Milkshake, and it looked interesting.
So we asked the guy who ran the place what taro was, and ended up with an answer along the lines of "a type of potato that tastes like you're eating cookies".

Wait, a POTATO SHAKE? Sounds gross, right? You don't wanna eat something like that...right?
I decided to order it. And sure enough, after he had made the shake and charged us, I tasted it and BEHOLD, THE TASTE OF SUGAR COOKIES. He didn't add any sugar at all, just taro powder, ice, water, and a bit of milk. We were so amazed by how something so natural could taste like the treats that people crave so much around the holidays, and cheat on their diets to have.
So for those who have a sweet tooth, but still want to be healthy, i suggest looking up recipes involving Taro, you could probably even make cookies with it and pretend they are sugar cookies =]
Satisfying and good for you at the same time, how much better could it get?
