Bye Bye Beautiful

No, I'm not actually saying good bye to anyone. It's a song by Nightwish and I've been listening to it on my iPod while surfing ze internetz. Pretty good song for 11 AM in the morning, lol.

So I've restarted the Job Hunt, because this job at Abercrombie isn't working out. I get maybe 10 hours a week and they are call-in shifts. I really can't stand that I'm trying to make money to go to school and can't because my job decides when I come in to work or if I come in to work at all. So I've been trying my damndest to find another job before the school year starts, which is in 19 days.....I don't think I'll be able to afford books this semester...sad to say.

Now I have a revelation to share with you all. Ever had something that you wanted to do but you ended up coming short? What did you suppose at the time was the issue? You're not physically able to perform the feat? You are not capable of getting all A's on your report card because you're somehow lacking the mental capacity?

No. The answer lies in one thing. Faith.

If one person fails in any endeavor, it was because their faith was insufficient to the task. You have to have faith in your abilities, faith in your support system, faith in your preparation and faith in your execution. Basically, you have to believe in yourself without a shadow of a doubt. So what if you're 4'3 and can't dunk a basketball. The only thing that is keeping you from doing that is yourself. The person who actually hits the weight room and strengthens themselves to be able to jump higher and does what's necessary has faith in their ability to dunk, no matter what their size is.

So, no matter how hard life may be, always remember to have faith in yourself. If you believe that you are the best and carry out the necessary steps and put in the time and work to be that way, then you will be the best in whatever it is that you set your mind to.
