The Humans are Dead

I have a random thought to share with you all. I want to work for ESPN as my ultimate career ambition. But I think they try too hard to make something out of nothing. They over-analyze things. Example: Brett Favre completes only a few passes and gains four yards total in a pre-season game. The very next Sportscenter I see, Mark Schlereth is on there talking about how this performance impacts the Vikings season. I just had to shut the TV off, to keep myself from throwing the remote through the screen.

Not every little minute statstic has long-term effects for the season. One pre-season game does not affect the entire season of the Vikings. At all. So please,ESPN, stop it. You're the Worldwide Leader in Sports. You don't have to try so hard to get ratings.
