Just a little joke for Allamorph before we start this chat> See, in an excited rush to get away from Lady Kei, Allamorph gave us a delightful new way to punctuate>

I think my soul has died and gone to heaven, because I bought Street Fighter IV yesterday. It is just pure gold. I played for about 3 hours, and it was funny to hear some of my families comments about the characters. Zangief was called the White Mister T, everyone OMG'd at the rotundness of Rufus, and Crimson Viper's character select portrait makes her look like a dude, apparently.
It was good times, for sure.
One gripe I do have with the game is this. HORRIBLE English VA work. I like keeping the dialogue in Japanese now, just because the people that did the American voice acting were horrible. Even with the talent they got for the roles, it just didn't translate into good Dialogue. Let me just say this....Kyle Hebert as Ryu only sounds good in theory.
But the gameplay is spot on, and it's exactly my kind of Street Fighter. No silly things like Air Combos and parrying, no BS stuff that people get away with. Everything feels very old-school street fighter and I had little trouble getting adjusted to the game system.
In other non-SF related news, My sister is going on a field trip to Orlando, Florida for a cheerleading competition. I'm so excited for her. I didn't get to do something nearly this grandiose, but it's nice to see that happen for my sister. You only experience high school once, and something like this will remain in your memory for a long time. I also hear ESPN will be covering their competition, so hopefully I'll get to see her compete on the tube.
Anyways, before I go I have one thing to say.
Balls....
That is All
