The world of Sourora was once a paradise like no other. Its flourishing forests and shimmering waters were vast and numerous. Towns and cities grew and projected through all of the land, and four mighty kingdoms formed. The Tireren to the north, the Eaunari to the south, the Anarden to the east, and the Kuiri to the west all formed as kingdoms and held their power in their domains. Yet a war broke out between the great four, and the land was laid to waste. The trees burned, and the waters were soiled. Villages burned, and people suffered. With that came the great purge in which bandits ruled the land. The ground rotted, and all that was left was the dust of fires. This was Paradise’ fall.

In the chaotic times that followed this sudden and great fall, people demanded for the peace of the four warring nations. However, even after a shaky peace was established, the land was already too far gone. Nothing could be salvaged from the destruction that had flowed forth. Cities struggled to regain their footing and remained small and ragged for the most part. Citadels were constructed from the remains of shattered castles. People began to move about through the sands that were once the great forests searching for a new land to call their own, and yet none have found any.

In this post apocalyptic world, a group of people come together to try and restore the world to its former self. Will they succeed? No one knows for certain.

:P Sorry

~Kiri~

Hibiki and Hanatsuki looked between me and the man as we both took a fighting stance. I was about the make the first move, when I realised something. I shot up, and the man’s eyes widened a little in surprise. “That’s right! I haven’t asked you your name yet,” I smiled at the man. He seemed a little confused as to how I’d gone from totally serious, to best friend in a few seconds.

“Zane,” he told me.

I nodded, and gripped the hilt of my sword, “Nice to meet ya Zane.” I lifted my sword, getting ready to attack. When suddenly, my train of thought was interrupted.

“Lady Kiri!” I heard someone call out. I turned and saw one of my father’s soldiers running towards me, the short man from earlier doing his best to keep up. Damn, I knew I shouldn’t have trusted him. I groaned, and looked back and forth between the soldier and Zane. I wanted to continue our fight, but with the soldier there, I’d be dragged back to Kuiri in less than a heartbeat.

“Sorry,” I grinned at Zane. I ran towards the soldier, who slowed down and sighed with relief, thinking that I was going to go home without a fight. Heh, yeah right. Just as I reached him, instead of slowing down, I sped up, and jumped right over his head. I stuck my tongue out at him as I ran, “Haha, you’re never gonna be able to catch me.”

He started to chase me, and just so I could annoy him, I started running around in a big circle. After a few seconds, he was tired out, and breathing heavily. “I told you!” I taunted him. He growled, and attempted to try and catch me again. I just laughed at him. I looked behind me to see Zane, Hibiki and Hanatsuki staring after me.

I was so preoccupied with taunting the guard, and watching the others, that I didn’t see what was in front of me. I turned around just in time to see a large, grey brick wall, right before I ran into it. I fell on my butt, and rubbed my nose. “Damn! That hurt!” I complained.

“Lady Kiri! Are you alright?” I heard the soldier call out and I realised he was getting closer to be every second.

“Stay away from me! I’m never going to go home!” I yelled out.

Fight?

“Hey, you know how to fight?” Zane blinked and was suddenly brought back to what was actually around him. A girl dark hair tied back in two pony tails with purple eyes was staring at him with her hands on her hips and a fixed expressi...

NUUUUUU!! MY FOOD!

I was sniffing around, looking for the days meal. I had been drifting farther and farther away from my territory recently. The food shortage was taking a tole on the newly named "Dead Forrest". The trees had all shriveled and died. Sun beat down harsh on any new plant attempting to rise back up, killing it within hours.

Finally, my sharp nose caught a scent that I hadn't smelled in a while. RABBIT! I looked around, finding it attempting to make a hole. I immediately started to approach quietly from behind. There was no cover to hide, so I had to be careful. Unfortunately, the sun wasn't on my side. My shadow loomed over, and it turned and took off. I ran after it. This was the fastest rabbit I had ever chased! Dang, they get faster and faster every generation ((it's called natural selection! ^_^ Biology, ew!)). We ran and ran until a city rose in view. It slowed down, and came to a stop, munching on grass stubs, not far from some people.

I came up silently behind it again. I was just about to grab it...

Some girl appeared out of no where, almost on top of it. It took off full speed again, long gone by the time I could recover.

"GRAH!" I screamed. "THAT WAS MY MEAL! Those rabbits aren't easy to find you know!!" The people turned to me suddenly. I huffed a piece of hair out of my eyes. I realized how long it is since I used human language. It was strange to hear it roll of my tongue so casually.

~Hanatsuki

Yeah, she's mad! >.< I thought I'd give a reason for Hibiki ending up there. Hope that's okay?

Rule No. 1: Never Get Distracted =3=U *sweat drop*

Sighing I sat down.

“Well this is useless.” I muttered to myself with my arms crossed. I wanted to go to the library today where now only sorcerers could go but I guess since most people didn’t know I was one, only a few, and the one who was guarding happened to not know I was one…Of all the luck..

Of course I could have easily proved it but it would have been a pain.

I leaned back and stared at the clouds as they rolled by and that gave me a idea.

“A transportation spell!” I got myself to a upright position and started saying the words out loud. I was planning on just transporting myself somewhere else in Eaunari when I saw something out of the corner of my eye..’Looks like a bunny.’ I thought to myself, abusing the first and most important rule of transportation, don’t get distracted…

I was zapped away and the bunny or what ever it was must have reminded me of Anarden because I found myself in Zolorous…

“Ahhh! Crap! Crap crap!” I rubbed my head and mentally kicked myself for losing focus while I was doing the spell..I got up and brushed the dirt off of my pants and suddenly I was aware that there was someone there.

‘Double crap…No one’s supposed to know I’m a sorcerer..’ Turning my head slowly I saw who was watching me with shock. It was a sand pirate and a girl. ‘My…This isn’t good that they didn't see me appear…’

Fight me!

~Kiri~ I laughed as I felt the wind rush trough my hair. I had untied it, so it flew around my face freely. I stretched my arms wide, basking in the warmth the sun brought. Suddenly I was tumbling forward. I managed to catch myself before I...
