"Port Elo!" I cried, standing atop the hill, looking down at the city before me triumphantly. We had finally made it after days of traveling. It was good to know we had reached our destination and I could get a good rest in a decent bed tonight. As a princess, I wasn't much accustomed to being without a bed for such a long duration before.
"Princess Emiko," huffed my servant, Kane from behind me, "I really don't think we are going in the right direction. I think the town we wanted was to the left at that sign."
"Nonsense, Kane!" a smile beaming, I pointed to the city before us. "We made it to the port!"
"My lady, look," he pointed to a sign that was a few feet away. He read it for me aloud, "Zolorous. Princess, we aren't even in our country anymore!" he cried out in shock.
I fell to my knees, tears in my eyes. "Oh! Why did you let me chose which way to go?" I huffed at him.
"Me? You are the one that insisted we go right!" he shot back.
"You know how horrible I am with directions!" I retorted.
"You would have beaten me up if I hadn't given in!" he replied.
I stopped short. He was right, of course. This was my fault. I sighed as grabbed my bag that had fallen off when I had slumped to the ground. "Well, we might as well stay in the city tonight. I'm sure my parents are wondering if we arrived safely yet. Why don't you go back and let them know what's going on," I suggested.
"And leave you out here by yourself?" Kane asked in shock. "You were lucky your parents even let you do this mission on your own."
I gave him a look. "I am the only one qualified enough to make the journey. After all, I'm the most skilled when it come to martial arts. I'll be fine. I'll ask for a map." I shrugged.
"I insist on staying with you. We have to get back to our country as soon as possible so you can negotiate with the villagers before a riot breaks out," Kane reminded me.
"Fine, fine." I nodded. The villagers had to be negotiated with as soon as possible. I couldn't dilly-dally here for too long.
I descended the hill looking for the port. We could hop a ride on the boat and get to where we needed to go by that route. I stepped into a grassy area, which wasn't far off from the port- Which Kane had to find for me, as I had taken five too many wrong turns.
I noticed a young girl trying to get away from a soldier, “Stay away from me! I’m never going to go home!” she yelled at him, arms up in defense.
My instincts took over and I was in front of her, roundhouse kicking the guy in the jaw. He landed a few feet away flat on his back. He would be down for a little bit. I was the strongest fighter back in Eaunari.
i turned to the girl, "Are you ok?" I asked her.

how was that?
