Of all the things I had expected by coming here, a ball was not one of them. I sighed as I glanced around the room. The guys looked a little uncomfortable at the notion of a ball. Heck, I was a little flabbergasted by the fact. I was a princess, so I was used to going to balls, but shouldn't we be worrying about more important matters?

And, the men had to ask the women. Who was I supposed to go with? I never go alone, or I am not to go at all. I sighed, nearly wishing I was back home. But, I remembered why I was here. I was here to make peace for my kingdom, and possibly fight the threat.

The ball was just one obstacle I would have to overcome. I turned to Rina. "Where are our chambers to prepare?" I asked.

She nodded to a few of her guards. "They will show you the way to your respective rooms. If you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to ask."

I sulked off, wondering how much fun this ball was really going to be as I followed the guards.
