This is a personal blog, where I'll post... well, what I want.
I waz tagged by Snowzi, so here I go ^^
1. Who was your childhood hero? Real, fictional, go for your life.
Probably Emily Rodda. She's the one who inspired me to write. But I also really liked Eoin Colfer. As for a fictional hero, either Leif or Frodo.
2. If you found the secret to immortality what would be the first thing you would do?
I would say not use it, but I assume that you meant if I had already become immortal.
Hmm... I'm not sure. Probably use it for myself, and use it on some lover I'd meet, and then we can be lovers for eternity. ^^
3. Ok your method of immortality failed and you eventually died (but you lived a good life dont be sad now) if you could be reincarnated as any animal what would it be?
I'm assuming I can't pick human, so I'd probably either be an owl or a cat.
4. Reckon you can pull off an Aussie accent mate? ;)
Pfft, every time I try and do a British accent it seems to come out as an Aussie accent >.< So, yeah.
5. How many languages do you speak?
Technically only English, but I do know a decent amount of Japanese. I also know some random words in German, Icelandic, French, and Spanish.
6. Pick a host from the Ouran High School Host Club. Or if youre not familiar Ouran (or prefer the ladies) any other Host Club that you know of will do, basically what's your type?
Kyoya. I like the stoic, got-his-stuff-together type, the type who's intelligent and logical. I need a grounded man to be my sea of calm in the craziness that is my own mind, ya know? He also needs to have a kind heart. So, yeah, Kyoya.
7. What did you want to be when you were a kid?
An author, and yeah, I still want to be an author. :T
8. CUDDLES! XD
Yaaay...! *hugs slightly awkwardly* (my desire for physical contact, including cuddles, changes from time to time and person to person)
9. What was the first anime/manga/game you fell in love with? What was the one that completely and utterly blew your mind away and you instantly knew you would forever be in love with anime/manga/games/whatever tickles your fancy.
My first one would have to be the Death Note manga. I became obsessed with Death Note when I first read it. (I still own the entire series ^^')
But my first anime was Kuroshitsuji, and while my reasons for loving it have changed over the years, it still holds a special place in my heart and is still my favorite anime.
10. How did you end up joining TheOtaku and what made you want to stick around?
I think it was through a quiz that I discovered theO... so I joined, thinking I wouldn't really be active on here (boy, was I wrong). I pretty much stayed for the opportunity to explore a new form of art (wallpaper-making) and because, while I feel like most anime fans are annoying to a certain degree, I feel like nearly everyone on here is mature. So I stay for the opportunity to have that more mature anime fanbase.
My questions:
1. Who is your favorite anime villain?
2. Which anime character are you most attracted to?
3. What's your middle name? >T
4. Do you like to roleplay (or would you every try roleplaying?)
5. Favorite Ghibli movie?
6. Do you play any musical instruments?
7. What is the first anime you ever remember seeing?
8. If you could go anywhere in the world that you haven't already been, where would it be?
9. Favorite musical artist?
10. And last but not least... DO THE CHICKEN DANCE >T
I tag: Judai (just to bug you with even more tags), Snowzi (yeah, I'm tagging you back, XxArrancarFanxX (Good luck in recovering from your surgery!), TheDarkEclipse, and nikkeh09.
A lil' update, since I haven't given y'all one since about a month ago.
It's interesting shifting my perspective from one of a minor child to one of an adult. It comes with some of its benefits, such as opening your own bank account, and with its negatives, like having to do your own laundry =.= One thing I still need to do before I can proudly call myself an independent adult though, is that I need to get my driver's licence. Yeah, I'm a slacker.
The 2015 Sketch Challenge is going okay, I'm still pretty behind, though I do plan on catching up... soon...
Last Thursday was my school's Solo and Ensemble Festival. I think I did pretty well on my trombone solo, and expect to go onto region, but I know I could've done better if I had practiced more. Also, Region Jazz Festival is this Wednesday.
As for my emotions overall, I'm having my ups and downs. There are days in which I'm really frustrated, and days in which I'm really happy. It's thanks to you guys, though, that I'm pushing forward and sticking to the things I need to even though they may be crappy sometimes ^^ Thanks for all your guys' support!
A huge thanks to those who responded to my emotional rant yesterday.
I am pleased to tell you that today has been completely different. I'm chalking up a lot of yesterday's despair to the fact that I was utterly exhausted. Today has been a different story. I feel refreshed, my self esteem has returned, and I um up and running.
In regards to what I'm doing with your guys' advice, well, I've decided a couple things. First off, I'm not going to back down as his friend. Although we haven't been talking much, I am, for the most part, content with where we stand. It's only in these small moments that my psyche breaks. And as long as he doesn't start fully mistreating me as a human, I'm going to assume he's fine with our friendship, too. Second off, I'm not going to confront him about anything. You guys are right - communication is key, and it's because of the current lack of communication that I just don't feel comfortable shoving such a huge, deep question on him so suddenly. I'm simply going to ride it out. I know of a few reasons why he may be acting this way, and even though it may take a while, I'm going to wait until they resolve themselves and see what happens from there.
Once again, thanks for all the comments! You guys are a huge reason why I've been so upbeat today. You guys are great. Thank you.
Time for another emotional rant.
So, as many of you know, lately I've been having struggles with Ninja being... indifferent. We hardly talk, if at all, even though we sit at the same lunch table together.
However, today I had a realization that may change the entire landscape of the situation.
I... have a yandere personality.
No, I'm not violent, but when I have a crush I do tend to become obsessed/desperate, changing the subtleties in my life, trying to please them. I usually don't mind if they don't like me back, the frustration comes when they don't lay the line on what's too creepy and what's not. And, well, Ninja's never really given any semblance of a line, let alone layed on down.
This puts on the line the decision on whether to attempt to abandon the crush altogether in order to save what friendship we have, or to continue on the risk that whatever I'm doing is slowly destroying the relationship between us. The lack of knowledge on where he stands doesn't help at all.
Not to mention a lot of the little things I used to base my self esteem on have gone down the toilet as of late. So now I'm floundering for things and reasons to be happy, most of which only come from watching Naruto Shippuden, Xiaolin Showdown, and making wallpapers.
So, in conclusion, right now I feel as if the title of this post were true: I am scum.
Here are your icons for winning Shake it Up! ^^ Hope you enjoy them!
