Japanese Fashion!
Ok, so I'm gonna rant about Japanese Fashion! lol! The reason why I love Japanese Fashion is because it's unique and colorful. It's all about originality and creativity. There's so many different styles that came from Japan: Gothic Lolita, Sweet Lolita, Decora, Ganguro, Visual Kei and many more! I first discovered Ganguro/Kogal and fell in love with Japanese Fashion after that. But my favorite J-Fashion style is Decora. I am obsessed with Kawaiiness! lol! I love anything and everything Kawaii. Kawaii is my favorite Japanese word! And Decora is very cute! It really emphasizes youth. It has that youthful aura to it. Alot of bright colors and toys are used in the style. And of course I like the Ganguro/Kogal style! Well, some of the things in that style I don't like, but it's cute overall. The style is sort of Island-y because they use alot of Hawaiian Lei's and stuff. Another style I like is Japanese Urban style. Like Japanese Rock and Hip-Hop Artists style and some Visual Kei. I freakin' love their hairstyles! The J-Rock hairstyles! But I think the style is more Visual Kei though. I really like the punk and funky Japanese styles. Although I love Kawaiiness, it's not just about Kawaiiness all the time. lol. I like the really trendy and Hip-Hop styles too. Although Cosplay isn't really a Japanese Fashion trend, I still love it! Dressing up as your favorite Anime and Video Game characters is very cool!
Then there's Gwen Stefani and her Harajuku Girls. I love Gwen Stefani! She's one of my favorite artists! I go B-A-N-A-N-A-S for her music! But I really don't like her Japanese style. Her clothing lines, L.A.M.B. and Harajuku Lovers, are overpriced and they're more like wannabe Japanese fashion. And her Harajuku Girls are only wearing clothes from her clothing lines. Some of the stuff from her clothing lines are cute, but it's just not Japanese Fashion. And when you buy something from a clothing line that's more wannabe Japanese fashion than original, it takes away from the individuality. You're not Japanese style (or Harajuku style as some people call it. Harajuku is not a Fashion style or trend!) and you're only supporting that label.
Kiddy Grade
Not really about Kiddy Grade. I just decided to name it that since I'm gonna be talking about Kiddy Stuff back in Elementary School and Middle School, the Kiddy Grades! I still love Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Yugioh, Dragonball Z, Tenchi Muyo, Cardcaptor Sakura, Yu Yu Hakusho and Beyblade. Sailor Moon and Pokemon were and still are the best! Pokemon was and still is my favorite Anime though. Pokemon was my first Anime and I started watching Anime because of Pokemon. When I was younger, I liked Pokemon better than Sailor Moon. But now, I like them both equally, but Sailor Moon slightly more since I'm really into Shojo/Magical Girl Anime. But Pokemon still is my first Anime! My friends and I used to role play (act out roles not play video games!) Sailor Moon and Pokemon. It was so much fun! We used to go on Pokemon adventures and battle with our Pokemon and we used to pretend we were the Sailor Scouts and we were fighting for Love and Justice! TV was so much better years ago. Now it's all about the Bratz and Naruto. Such crap! And the kids these days growing up watching the 8th, 9th and 10th seasons of Pokemon don't know what they're missing. When I was younger, there were only 151 Pokemon. Now there's 400 or 500 something Pokemon and you can't even pronounce half of their names! Then you got new Pokemon with weird names. WTF is a Nosepass? lol. Then there's Sailor Moon. I love and still love Sailor Mini Moon. When I was younger, my favorite Scouts were Sailor Mini Moon and Sailor Pluto. But yeah, it's just Sailor Mini Moon now. I watched the dubbed version of all these Anime btw. I like Sailor Mini Moon's American voice actress. Sailor Mini Moon has the most cutest voice ever! And I love her song "The real Sugar Baby". Stephanie Beard plays the voice of Rini/Sailor Mini Moon and she actually really does have a cute and squeaky voice. She uploades some videos on Youtube. She's a Canadian actress for YTV. Yugioh was also cool. And so was Beyblade! I never owned a Beyblade but some of my friends did and they used to battle eachother or whatever. My friends and I used to try to have Pokemon and Yugioh card battles. We used to try to play the trading card game but it never really worked out. lol. We were much more into acting out scenes from Pokemon and Yugioh and being our favorite characters from those Anime. Such fun! Kiddy Grade!
